(Flashback Renae)

Chizome grimaced as he wrapped up my wounds from earlier. "Damn them. I'm so sorry imouto." He finished wrapping my wounds and pulled me into a gentle hug. "Onii-chan why do they hate me?" He pulled me closer to him. "Shh. Mom and dad don't hate you. They think they're making you stronger." I snuggled further into his warm embrace. "It hurts." He began stroking my hair. "I know, I know. I promise I'll get you away from here. One day it'll just be you and me. We won't have to worry about them ever again." I yawned sleepily. "I love you Onii-chan." He stopped stroking my hair and rested his chin on my head. "I love you to Renae."

(Present)

I trembled but held my ground as Tenya glared fiercely at me. "Fine. I'll just have to blow through you first." He launched himself forward and after a moments hesitation, the others followed. I bit my lip and glanced towards the shadows. I heard my brother whisper behind me. "Just get out of here! Don't risk yourself for me!" I smiled back at him. "Its my turn to protect you Onii-chan. When this is all over, we'll leave. It'll just be you and me. Remember?" He smiled. "Imouto..." I glanced back over to the shadows and he realized what I was going to do. "Be careful!" I nodded and willed the shadows towards me. I was about to show them why my parents had been so feared. The reason they had been the ultimate duo. Their ultimate attack, which would only be strengthened by my ace. I reached into the far depths of my mind and yanked opened the gates I had sealed since the USJ attack. As my eyes rolled back into my head, I felt Erise take over.

(Erise)

"It really has been too long." I turned to look at the reason I had been called out. "You," I growled. Tenya fell a step back. "You hurt her. You made her sad. I. Will. Kill. You." I heard Renae urge me not to hurt them too bad, but I ignored her. I reached my hands into the shadows and pulled them towards me, forming a thick cocoon.

(Tenya)

Renae's eyes rolled back in her head. And I froze. Seconds later, her usually stunning blue eyes were replaced with red. "It really has been too long." She said with a light, carefree tone. The odd crimson eyes seemed to be searching for something and finally rested on me. Her carefree expression was replaced with one of utter loathing. "You." She snarled with so much hatred that I stepped back. "You hurt her. You made her sad. I. Will. Kill. You." Her hands grasped at the shadows before pulling them back towards her. The shadows raced towards her and formed a thick shell around her. It began swirling faster and faster, pulling in nearby metal as it did. Suddenly, it stopped and began collapsing. It stopped again before exploding in a flash of red. Renae (?) stepped forward. The metal had formed an armor around her, and the shadows formed a coating around it. Behind her, the shadows formed a demonic figure. He was pitch black but I could see the outline of horns and a long blade. She raised her hand and the shadow demon mirrored her, raising its sword. She slashed in a diagonal motion and it disappeared. Moments later, I gasped as pain spread throughout my shoulder. The demon stood behind me with blood dripping from its blade. I stumbled away from it and saw it had hit the others, but in the legs, so they couldn't stand, and had hit them so they lost consciousness. The demon disappeared again and I looked around wildly. I felt it nick my cheek and spun in that direction, only for it to slice behind me. I spun again but again it attacked from behind. It started cutting faster, and I couldn't keep up. I fell to my knees and watched as blood slowly seeped onto the ground. I felt it behind me and looked back. Renae had that same insane smile as she had at USJ and raised her hand. The demon placed its sword against my throat and I closed my eyes, ready for the final blow. 

"Erise that's enough." I opened my eyes and saw Stain had grabbed her hands. She looked back at him with a glare. He matched this with his own and she finally backed down. The red faded to blue and the demon disappeared. As she fell back, the metal and shadows fell away. Stain caught her and put go her on his back where she clung to him weakly. He looked back at me with contempt. "You're lucky to be alive. I was going to let her kill you, but the guilt would be too much for her. I won't kill you either, she wouldn't want that." He tilted his head and listened. I did too and could hear the sirens faintly in the distance. "They'll catch you." He looked back at me and smirked. "They never will. Remember this night fake hero. Learn from it. If you ever come looking for us, I won't let you off. Next time, I'll kill you." He sprang upwards and onto the roof before dashing away. I slumped forward. The last thing I saw was the police running towards us, and I blacked out.
