So someone got an idea for me to write a In A Heartbeat AU and I thought "well I love Sherwin and Jonathan my two gays so I thought what the hell!!!!!" And that brings us here!
Keith ran into the school pathway leading to the front entrance. Keith looked behind himself frantically before jumping into a bush. Keith kept his breath low as he hid from the boy who walked past the bush.
Keith climbed up the tree next to the bush as he held onto one of the branches. He watched sneakily as his crush walked to threw the school gates. Keith smiled, a blush creeping onto his face.
Keith felt his heart start beating out of his chest. Keith snuck behind the tree to hide from his crush. He frantically tried to calm down the noisiness that all the beating of his heart was doing. Keith placed his hand over it to muffle out the sound, his crush continuing to walk down the path to the front entrance.
Keith sighed a breath of relief, before his little heart burst out of his chest. His little heart smiled big as it pointed at Keith's crush walking by. The heart grabbed his finger and tried to pull him away towards his crush. Keith pulled the heart back, only for the heart to pull him forward again.
Keith lost his grip and his heart floated after his crush. His rush tossed his apple in the air again, then to see his heart come back down in his crushes hand. Keith screamed internally as his heart kept getting tossed in the air only to land back in the palm of his crushes hand.
Keith jumped out of the tree and ran over to grab his heart. But his heart moved from his grasp, which resulted in Keith grabbing a hold of his crushes hand. His crush looked at him with a weird look.
"I-I-I- um uh...I'm so so sorry!!" Keith yelled an apology trying to get a grip on his heart that was floating around his crush. Keith ran around his crush in circles before finally gripping his heart in his hands. While he was in a compromising position with his crush. Keith's face was mere centimeters away from his crushes.
Keith quickly pulled apart from his crush and hid in the trash can. His crush, Lance, was utterly confused as to what was going on. Another boy walked past Lance, Lance quickly waving and nodding his head. Lance looked back towards the trash can before continuing to walk towards the front doors of the school.
Keith poked his head out from the trash can, making sure his crush couldn't see him. Keith's heart grabbed Keith's finger and started to drag him towards his crush in a fast pace. Keith could feel the wind hitting his face. Keith made a sharp turn so he could avoid his crush, but his heart thought otherwise.
Keith braced himself for impact but then went over a small pebble that launched him into the air. Keith flew in the air upside down as he went over his crush.
Keith landed on the ground, letting go of the grip he had on his heart. Keith rubbed his temple before looking towards the front doors to see his heart go in them.
He quickly got up and ran towards the front doors, pushing them open. Keith looked around before he saw his crush laying on the floor, his heart rubbing against his cheek.
Keith went over to his crush and grabbed his hearts little hand. His little heart whined as Keith tried to pull it away from his crush. His heart pulled forward a grabbed his crushes finger and stayed in the middle of them.
Keith looked at everyone staring at them. The other kids started whispering and glaring at the two boys. Keith tried to pull his heart away, his heart starting crack. His crush looked at him, almost as if in a way trying to say "don't do it". But Keith didn't listen. So with one more pull, he saw his heart break in half as he ran off with it.
Keith sat behind a tree, looking at the piece of his heart that he held in his hands. Keith could feel a tear prick the corner of his eye. Keith leaned his head back against the tree, a small tear rolling out.
Keith looked over to catch a small glimpse of his crush standing there. Keith turned around, quickly wiping one of his tears. His crush sat down in front of him and tried to grab a hold on his hands, Keith quickly flinching them away.
Keith looked back at his crush and saw the other piece of his heart in his crushes hands. Keith hesitantly opened his hands up, his crush placing the other half of his heart in place.
Keith saw his heart come back together, it's little happy smile looking back at him. Keith felt a hand on his shoulder, belonging to his crush, Lance. Lance smiled at Keith as the two sat under the tree.
