The section in bold has been taken from the last chapter of United As One. And if anyone doesn't know DTR means Define the Relationship.😊

John's POV

Marina comes back to the Himalayas with me. When she sees what I've done with the cave, with Eight's cave, she runs her hands across the places where the prophecies used to be etched, feeling the smoothness of new stone, the possibility of a blank canvas. She lets herself cry at last.

After that, Marina stands right in front of me. She reaches out and takes my face in her hands. " Thank you, John," she says quietly. The tears haven't dried on her cheeks yet. I brush a streak away.

She kisses me. I don't know what it means.

I look at Marina and I see her blushing. I start to turn red too.

" Why did you kiss me," I ask her.

" I don't know, I guess I've kinda had a crush on you since Eight died," she tells me.

" Oh, well I've kinda had an emotional crush on you even when I was with Sarah," I say, " but I still loved Sarah so I tried to ignore it. Now with Sarah and Eight gone, what's stopping us."

" I don't know," Marina says looking down, "I just always thought it would be wrong to like someone again."

" It's been a year Marina," I said tilting her head so she looks at me " I personally don't think Eight would want you to sit around mourning his death and never be happy for the rest of your life."

" You know what, John, you're right," she says standing up, "I'm ready to take the next step."

" Does this mean we're boyfriend and girlfriend," I ask.

" Right after this," Marina says leaning forward.

Marina meets my lips. Sarah's kisses were passionate, but Marina's were on a completely different level. I don't want to ever stop kissing her. I can't stop. I just can't. I guess this is true loric love.

I kiss her deeper and rougher. I bite her lip slightly.

Suddenly, our pendants begin to glow a brilliant loralite blue. It meant someone was attempting to teleport to our hideout in the Himalayas.

Marina jumped off of me, fixed her dress and stood near the base of the loralite. The loralite began to turn the same colour as our pendants. I couldn't help but notice that Marina looked slightly ticked that someone interrupted us. I smiled. It was refreshing to know that I already meant so much to Marina.

Marina saw me eyeing her and turned towards me.

" What the heck are you smiling about, Smith," she asked smiling.

" Not a thing Rina," I laugh.

She rolls her eyes at the nickname I just gave her.

Just as Marina is about to go sit down, not one but two figures emerge from the patch of loralite.

It's Six and Sam.

Marina brightens up as soon as she sees who it is.

" Six," she cried running forward, " Omigosh I haven't seen you in forever."

The two went off talking leaving just me and Sam.

" So you and Marina eh," Sam says casually.

I'm startled for a second.

" How did you know that," I say shocked.

" I know things," he replies, " Oh and Marina has a hickey.

" It's good to see you again buddy," I say laughing.

Over in the next room, I can hear Marina and Six laughing about something.

" He did what," I hear Six yell.

" Sshh," I hear Marina respond through a fit of giggles.

I immediately blush, assuming that they're talking about me. Sam obviously jumps to the same conclusion, as he breaks into a hearty laugh.

" Shut up," I say.

" So what's going on between you and Six, you take any trips to the bedroom," I ask.

" None of your business," Sam says, trying to hide a smile, " but yes."

I don't know why but I'm starting to feel a little jealous. Why am I feeling this way? I like Marina. I have for awhile. Six is with Sam. Sam your best friend. Snap out of it, John. Snap out of it.

" John," Sam says waving his hand in front of my face.

" Huh, oh sorry, I... I was just thinking."

" It's cool," he says.

Sam looks around taking in his surroundings.

" Ah, it's good to be together again," he says.
