Relationships Ruined? Yep!

Six's POV

John. Check.

Marina. Check.

Sam...

John's mad at me. Marina is mad at me, and Sam is gonna be crushed. I've put it off long enough. I'm gonna tell him after breakfast. Marina is cooking. Great.

I get out of bed and go to the bathroom, to freshen up. I walk out and take my place at the table.

" Dang it," Marina says as I'm walking in, " Sam the toasters not working, can you use your legacy?"

" Sure thing," Sam replies, " morning Six," he says, seeing me walk in."

He gets up and uses his legacy to fix the toaster.

" Thanks, Sam," Marina says.

" Ok, breakfast is served," Marina says.

Marina drops the plate in my spot, letting some of the food spill out.

I take a bite of the eggs. They're ice cold.

" Marina, my food wasn't heated," I say meekly.

" Oops," Marina says insidiously.

I think about asking John to use his lumen to heat up my food, but then I'd probably end up with an icicle sticking out of my eye. Fire and Ice. I guess I never thought about it that way.

I finish eating my breakfast as fast as I can, then walk into the living room, and sit on the couch. Sam joins me moments after, sitting down on the couch and wrapping his arm around me.

"Is everything okay between you and Marina?" Sam asks.

" Umm, no," I say, preparing to tell Sam the truth, " Marina is mad at me because... because she found out that I kissed John."

Sam pulls his arm off of me and scoots away. I look up and see a tear rolling down his left cheek.

" W-what," he stutters, " you kissed John."

I nod my head.

" Six," he says softly, " do you love him?"

" Yes," I whisper.

Sam gets off the couch and leaves the living room.

I finally let myself cry. I don't want to cry. Six of Lorien, Slayer of Setrakus Ra doesn't cry. But now I do.

I trudge back to my room. As I pass John's room I see him and Marina on the bed making out. I use my telekinesis to slam the door, causing Marina to scream.

As I'm walking away, I hear a loud crack, and I look behind me. There's a foot long icicle sticking out of the door.

I guess that's Marina's warning.

I speed up my pace and head into my room. I jump on the bed not bothering to close the door.

I hear a soft knock behind me.

" Can, I come in? " a voice says.
