'포기하지 마알잖아'
'Don't give up, you know'Prologue
The era of war is over. The empire and the Jedi are at 'peace'. No one can kick them out. Because if they do, war has a right to begin. When things have just settled down, that's the last thing they want.
Chanyeol
Dawn broke upon the city, and everyone was alive. The guards began patrolling and people started getting to their jobs. Being a Jedi had become far less exciting than back in the old days. Now, people had jobs. Well, they weren't office jobs. Space ship control, engineer, captain, you name it. Chanyeol's father was the general for base 19, a development for new lightsabers. He was high class, and so Chanyeol's family lived in a penthouse on top of one of the most famous skyscrapers in the city. There were no houses. Not enough room.
Chanyeol ran a hand through his pinky purply hair, scoffing as he felt the curls. He hated his curls, although that was the least of his problems right now. He was supposed to be in school.
He changed into his boring, beige robes and grabbed his lightsaber since it had to be inspected every single day. The routine was tight, cut to military precision. Nothing got out of eyes view. Ever since the empire had claimed land on the city, it was basically a war zone. They'd tried starting a rebellion a few times, but it was all down to one small group.
Chanyeol washed his face quickly before joining his parents at the dining table. They still had to eat from ration packets, but they had larger portions meaning the food wasn't as bland.
"So, I was thinking, is it okay if I go out wth my friends tonight?" Chanyeol asked bravely, knowing just how protective his parents were. Since his parents were ranked higher, they knew more of the goings on in the city and knew just how dangerous it was. But in all fairness, Chanyeol was an eighteen year old male and most people didn't approach him since he was so tall. It's not like he couldn't look after himself.
"To where, dear?"
"It doesn't matter where. You're not going. Someone from the dark side could approach him. I don't want my boy meddling wth them, not when he hasn't finished his training."
"Dad. It's just a bar. Me and my friends are just going since exams are finally over. It's Jedi's only! I'm eighteen dad, come on!"
"No. Do you realise how bad it'll be on my name if someone sees you with one of them?"
"Who says I'm going to see one of the,? The bar isn't even close to where they roam! And besides, aren't we supposed to be at peace with them now? Darth Vader and Kylo Ren are dead! And have been for years! There's no more sith! The force is balanced. The prophecy is dead!"
