Its All In Your Head

I grope around and I try to find my way through the darkness. I blindly search, trying to grasp onto something. Anything. Anything at all to help as a crutch to find my way. I stumble over something and land on a floor. My heart thuds in my ears as I stand back up, marching forward.

My heart races and anxiety fills my veins while I stumble around. I beg, give me a light. Something to hold onto. Even a trace of existence.

Dark has taken over my body, leaving me stranded here. Leaving me isolated. I'm just stuck wandering the darker parts of my mind. Now I'm getting nervous as my breath grows short. I wonder how long Dark will leave me like this.

Just when I think all hope is lost, I grip a wall. I slowly follow and flick a switch. As soon as I do, all the glass around me shatters and the shards kiss my face, arms, and neck. At least I have some light.

"What the hell?" I mutter, looking down a hall with doors on each side. It looked similar to a hotel hall, which didn't necessarily surprise me. I came to the first door and I just stared at it. It was a simple black door with a gold platter on it which read: Dark.

I guessed it was his room and decided to stay as far away from his door as possible. Maybe I can find someone to help me here. If I just look in the right places. I go to the door across the hall.

It was yellow and pink striped with a pink mustache on the door. I'm not even going to look at the tag because I already know whose room this is. He's real close to Dark from what I know. Maybe he can help me.

I open the door to see Wilford lying on the bed and staring at the ceiling, waving a gun around and mumbling something in that God awful accent of his.

"Kill em' while they're young, that's what I say!" He said. Oh lord. Now I'm debating wether or not I should even go in. "Ain't gonna take none of this shit no more so let's start a revolution!" He sang mindlessly and I knocked lightly on the door.

His head snapped up at me and he quickly sat up, pointing his gun in my direction as I raised my hands to the air in sudden panic. His body was tense and his eyes stared into mine for a moment before I found air to speak.

"DONT SHOOT! ITS ME, MARK!" I tell him. He lowers the gun slightly and cocks an eyebrow at me. "And dammit, point that thing away from me Wilford, it's loaded." I tell him.

"Hey! I've heard about you. Aren't you Markiplier?" He asked me and my shoulders dropped. "I was just kidding. I know who you are." He says, making me suppress an angry growl. I didn't have time for this. I had to find my way out of here.

"Quit playing with scissors and cut the crap, Wilford. What are Darks big plans for me?" I ask. He smirks and looks me dead in the eyes.

"I was told to keep that private and confidential by my old pal Dark. You remember how Markiplier TV played out. There were two heads at that table Mark, and one of them was standing." He gestures to himself as he loses the accent and his voice drops to a low pitch. One I didn't expect from him.

"That means that I am one of the heads of this operation. Therefore, no can do Markimoo." He sings. I groan in response.

"Thanks for nothing Wilford." I say as I step out and shut his door. I'm sorry, but I just can't be intimidated by Wilford. I don't see how anyone can be.

I stepped up to the next door. It was pure white with a golden halo taped to the front of it. I look inquisitively at the door and read the golden plaque on the door: Light.

This is the good guy that everyone talks about? This is supposed to be Lightiplier? I didn't even know he actually existed. However, with Dark proving his existence and now running around in my body, what did I expect?
