My name is Celia White. I've been sent to MTD Boarding School because I've been an awful daughter. I get into fights constantly, I'm rude, I'm unladylike, I argue with my parents daily, and so on. The list of my imperfections can go on forever honestly, but the one thing they couldn't complain about though, was that I'm not a failing student. My grades stay between B's and C's. Sometimes they complain that I never get A's, like my sister, but eventually they stopped. When they stopped, I thought they had finally trusted that I'd do better, but it wasn't long until I found out I was wrong. They stopped bothering me, because they gave up on me. They didn't care about me anymore, so they sent me away to the worst school ever. And now here I am, leaving the place I dreaded, to a new place I'll dread more. And with every step I take, I'm getting oser and closer to hell...

"My name is Celia White, I'm a new student here and I need my schedule as well as the rulebook and my dorm key" I said blankly. I was currently in the principles office, waiting for my essentials to start my "learning experience".
"Of coarse miss Celia, I've got your items here. Also please remember NOT to lose your room key. There will be consequences if you do. Now take these and be on your way, your tutor is waiting outside for you, ask him whatever questions you have" she said dryly, handing me the things I asked for.
"My tutor...the man sitting outside the room?" I asked.
"Who else would be outside? I don't recall calling anyone else here, now hurry on, I'm very busy" she rushed, shooing me out the room. I sighed and left as expected. The man sitting looked up from his book, giving me a warm smile before standing up.
"My name is Mr. Peters, but when we're not in class, you can call me by my first name; Daniel. Don't worry, it's very common to call teachers here by their first name outside of class, but if you don't want to, that's perfectly ok" he said, smiling again. "Now, what's your name?" He asked.
"Don't play dumb" I mumbled, looking at the floor to hide my glare.
"I understand that you've been through a lot, and you're probably very stressed right now, but I'd apretiate if you dropped the attitude" he said. I honestly didn't care about what he'd "apretiate", but for the sake of avoiding trouble, I merely nodded my head and sighed.
"Celia" I said lowly, trying to force back a hiss, but failing to hide the irritation in my voice.
"Well Celia, I'll lead you to your dorm, and then I'll give you a brief tour of the school. If you can't remember all the classrooms, then you can write notes of your surroundings in a notebook to help you remember" he said. I nodded and followed his lead.

The tour was boring, and once I came back to my dorm, I was exhausted. But the worst part, was that Daniel was still sticking around! I ignored all his small talk for a reason! Can he not take a hint!?
"Why are you still here?" I asked, sounding less rude and more...emotionless.
"I'm here to help you unpack" he said.
"No" I said, a sharp look of annoyance on my face.
"You need to be done before dinner, and it'll be faster if we-"
"No, get out" I said, irritated.
"What's your problem?" He asked, obviously unamused by my constant temper. I didn't answer. "Fine I'll go, but don't get used to being sassy with me. I'm letting it slide for now because it's your first day, but keep it up and you'll regret it" he said before leaving and slamming the door behind him. I growled and punched the floor out of anger, chipping off a piece of the hard floorboard and cutting my knuckle. I wiped off the pieces of dust from the floor off my bleeding hand and sighed once more. While unpacking, I stumbled across a photo of my sister I brought without thinking.
"Maya..." I whisper. I miss her, but at the same time, I hate her.
Maya was my big sister, and she treated me like a living princess. She carried me on her back, complimented me every time I changed my appearance, and gave me at least one gift every year for my birthday.
Our parents were abusive. My dad was a workaholic, and whenever he was home he'd be really grumpy and insult us or yell at us if we bothered him. He was so obsessed with work, he dreaded being home, because he hated the responsibility of being a father. On numerous occasions he'd make it perfectly clear that if we were never born, he'd be living a much happier life where he only has to worry about himself and his lovely wife. Our mother however, was less verbal and more violent. If we bothered our father too much, she'd spank us until our bottoms were bright red. If we didn't do chores, she'd cut our hair and force us to clean while she watched, and she was very picky about the way we cleaned. Too many mistakes and we'd either sleep outside for the night, or we'd have no dinner. If we got bad grades, she'd visit our class the next day and embarrass us by spanking us in front of everyone, or insulting us until we cried. She was an alcoholic too, and when she was drunk, all she'd want was sex, so she'd bring random men home when dad wasn't home to screw around, and if she couldn't find anyone she'd yell and scream, and beat one of us if she saw us while she was like that.
Maya was the only person I knew that was ever a true friend to me. All the kids at school either bullied me, or stayed friends with me until I couldn't give them stuff anymore. When I gave up making friends, all I had was Maya to stay by my side. She was all I needed, and I was fine with just me and her against the world, until...
"M-Maya...?" I called.
"C-Celia! Get out-" Maya began, but was cut off as she began throwing up. I had caught her swallowing pills she didn't need, so I thought she took the wrong ones. I had tried to take them out by sticking my fingers down her throat, but it didn't work until she threw them up.
"Maya? Are you ok now?" I asked
"Y-yeah, just a headache. I'm gonna nap for a bit, you should go to bed, it's late" she said, looking down.
"Kay! Love you!" I said with a smile before running out, hoping to stay up longer without her putting me to bed. I was always happier when I was with Maya, and I thought she'd feel the same...but apparently she felt the need to betray me...
She died that night. When I was sleeping, she hung herself in the closet. I woke up in the middle of the night after having a nightmare, and I needed her to comfort me so I could sleep peacefully, so I looked for her. I was little, so when I didn't see her in her bed, I thought she was playing hide-and-seek. Well...I found her. I tried everything I could to wake her up, but the coldness of her skin, her nonexistant heartbeat, and her blank scary eyes, told me that she would never wake up. My parents barely reacted before burying her behind the house. I refused to believe she was dead, and I would dig up her grave again and again, but reality hit me when insects began to feast on her body. She hated insects, she would never let them touch her. That was the first time I ever felt truly alone. But it didn't have to be that way. She was still there, just, no one could see her. I took her hair ribbons and put them on a doll of hers. I kept it, and named it "Maya". And from that day on, my sister was back!

I jump in suprise when I heard something fall. The rulebook I had left on the bed had fallen off and snapped me out of my daze. Quickly I unpacked and made my way down to the lunchroom for dinner.
