As soon as I let go of Daniel, I felt my head spin. I began seeing colors until everything around me became black.
"Celia...?" Daniel called before panicking. "Celia! Celia wake up are you ok!?" He shouted.(Third person P.O.V)
Daniel rushed Celia to the nurses office, confused and very worried. When he felt her skin, he could feel how hot she was, too hot to be healthy. Daniel mentally cursed himself for not paying proper attention to her. If he had stopped trying to be nice and just determined for himself that she was ok, this wouldn't have happened. As soon as they had reached the nurses office, he lied her down on a spare bed and then spoke to the nurse.
"I'm sorry to bother you like this, I know your shift is over, but I have no idea what to do!" He said. The nurse put her hand up with a smile as to cut him off.
"I understand, don't worry For now you should go rest, I'll call you in once I'm done treating her" she said. Daniel nodded and left, relieved knowing Celia was in good hands.
The nurse; Agatha, checked Celia's temperature, shocked to see that she had a fever. Quickly, she fetched an ice pack and put it on Celia's forehead, putting a blanket over her to even the temperature. Agatha continued to treat Celia until there was nothing left to do. After a few hours, Celia woke up, looking much better than when she came. Agatha checked her temperature once more, glad to see that her fever had gone down.
"Where am I?" She asked, rubbing her eyes tiredly.
"You're in the nurses office, your tutor brought you here. He was really worried about you, you're lucky to have a tutor like him" she said, handing Celia a glass of water.
"Are you going to tell my parents?" Celia asked.
"I'm going to have to" Agatha responded. "Why did you hide it?" She asked.
"Hide what?" Celia asked, confused.
"The fact that you were sick. You should've told Daniel!" She scolded.
"I didn't want my parents to know" she said, lowering her head.
"Well, he's gonna be mad at you for lying, and there's nothing I can do" Agatha informed, sadly.
"I know" Celia said.
"I didn't have to use any medications to make you feel better, so tell you what; this can be our little secret. I won't tell your parents, this time. I feel bad, I know that Daniel's strict, so this is all I can do to make things easier for you. Don't get used to it" she said with a smile.
"What's your name?" Celia asked.
"I'm the school nurse, my name is Agatha" she responded. "Now get some more rest, your fever went down but if you stress too much it'll come back" Celia nodded and obeyed, slowly falling back asleep.
Agatha sighed and stepped outside once Celia was sleeping. After a good rest, she should be just fine. She called Daniel to tell him about Celia's condition.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Hi Daniel, sorry I took so long to call-"
"No, no its ok, how's Celia"
"Well that's what I was calling you for..."
"Has she gotten better Agatha?"
"No Daniel...I'm sorry to say but there was nothing I could do. Her fever was too high, and she died" Agatha lied, curious about his reaction. Daniel gasped, sounding like he was on the bridge of tears, before hanging up the phone. Agatha suddenly felt guilty, and tried to call back to tell him it wasn't true, but as she was waiting for an answer, she saw Daniel running from down the hall.
"Daniel! Come here! Agatha called. Daniel wasted no time and hurriedly ran to her, tears spilling down his face. He looked like a child seperation from their parents from how much he was crying.
"Pull yourself together Daniel, can't you tell when I'm joking and when I'm being serious?" Agatha said, ruffling his hair. Suddenly Daniel had a hopeful look in his eyes, as he stared down at Agatha.
"So she's ok?" He asked.
"Of coarse she is! But don't bother her, she's sleeping" she answered.
"Thank you Agatha, I'm glad" he said with a smile.
"Don't be too hard on her Daniel" Agatha said, looking him in the eye.
"I'll be as tough as I need to be Agatha, and you know that. I need her to learn that it's not ok to lie, especially about your health! I have every right to be upset after the scare she gave me! Of coarse, I'll forgive her, but that doesn't mean I won't discipline her" he explained.
"I understand. You do your job, I have faith that it'll all work out fine" she said. "But let's keep all of this a secret, for some reason she's afraid to tell her parents about this, so I already promised not to tell" Agatha suggested.
"Deal" Daniel sighed.(First person P.O.V)
"Celia...Celia wake up" I heard a voice whisper. I looked up, and saw a face I never thought I'd see again.
"M-Maya!?"
