Today we are all going to a ball! Well... all except Uncle Bufford. I am so excited! Even Lilly was invited! I can't wait! Just imagining all of the fancy dresses and the music and oh how grand the ballroom will look! I would love if Edmund could come. It would be lovely if I could dance with him. But Aunt Brank would never approve of it. Oh how I wish I could tell Lilly! We could chat about our secret lovers in private together! But, even Lilly probably wouldn't approve! She's all about women's rights and...feminism! Sometimes I wonder if Lilly is alright...you know in the head. But I still love her just the same! I know it's wrong but Lilly is my favorite sister!
