Omniscient POV

Grecia stared at the white ceiling, unable to sleep. She thought of Derek and the way he had spoken to her. Why was he letting his red-hot jealousy get in the way of his feelings for her? She turned over on to her side, upset at the thought of not being able to see him. Although, she wasn't sure if she wanted to see him. Maybe she was better off marrying Isidore.

She turned back onto her back, restless. She had grown so used to Derek sleeping beside her she felt as if she would not be able to fall asleep unless a living person was next to her.

Derek's words would nonstop echo in her head. It wasn't the words themselves that hurt her feelings, moreso the way he changed his demeanor so fast. It was intimidating, and Grecia got to thinking that Isidore may have personally triggered it. Derek had not once gotten sexual with her, let alone rude. She didn't think he was angry she denied his advances, not to say she didn't enjoy it, but he was angry she denied it because of Isidore. Especially after everything her and Derek had been through.

She climbed out of bed unable to sleep alone. Grabbing hold of her pillow, she walked out of her room silently and down the hall. Grecia hesitantly walked down the hall way and descended a few steps, working her way to the north wing where Edward and Jackson had their rooms placed. She spoiled them, they had large bedrooms the size of hers and king sized beds. They also had the privilege to design their bedrooms. It was early in the AM's and she guessed they were fast asleep. Grecia found herself in front of Edward's door. He was the more thoughtful of the two. Had she woken Jackson up, he would surely throw a fit and set the castle up in flames.

Creeping into the room, she noticed how beautiful it was at night. It looked like a winter wonderland. The floor was warm yet looked made of ice. Although, the whole room had a chilling sense to it. The main colors were white and blue, and Edward slept soundlessly in a midst of pillows and blankets. Grecia crept over to him quietly, looking over his peaceful features. She hugged the pillow closer to her, gently placing a hand on his bare arm and shaking it ever so gently. "Edward." she whispered, barely audible. Once again she did so, shaking him a bit harder until he startled awake, eyes wide.

"What? Is there something wrong?" He sat up worriedly, looking for a sense of emergency on Grecia's features.

"No." Grecia felt suddenly embarrassed. "Just..." she trailed off, looking down. Edward sighed, laying his head back down and opened his mouth as if he were going to say something. He seemed to decide against it, pulling his covers down. He had only been wearing a pair of light blue boxers and he was shirtless, but Grecia had seen him in his boxers plenty of times. She didn't look at Edward in that sense at all, so she had nothing to worry about.

"Come on kiddo." Edward said quietly, patting the spot next to him. Grecia let out a sigh of relief and crawled into the bed, snuggling up next to him. "Don't worry about Derek. He's just a boy." Edward paused for a moment. "I can't count the times I've said something to make a girl hate me."

"Really?" Grecia asked quietly.

He nodded, smiling. "You see... Girls overthink everything. Sometimes boys think with everything but their head and they'll say something stupid without realizing the severity."

"I'm just sensitive when people talk about my father." Grecia said, and Edward knew it all too well.

"Listen... I saw Isidore really laying into Derek outside your study. I have never seen Isidore in that persona before, meaning I think he was really jealous of Derek. If I were Derek, I would have been ticked off too. I don't think it was you, I think it was Isidore."
