** Smut warning later on in the chapter. There will be another warning. It's very short so if smut offends you just read up until the warning. ^u^
Omniscient
"Did what bother me?" Matthias played stupid although there was a clear hint of sarcasm dipping into his voice.
"I know you care for her, Derek. But you don't know her like I do." Isidore sighed as if he were sorry but there was no hint of apology in his voice. Matthias' body was turned to Isidore fully now, a glare present on his face.
"We're just friends. It doesn't bother me." Matthias lied and tried his best to sound convincing.
Isidore chuckled under his breath. His eyes were glistening with a sense of sadistic undertones. "What if I told you we slept together when she stayed with me?"
Matthias felt his heart drop into his stomach. Surely he was lying. He had to of been, right?
"Okay." Was all he said. Matthias' throat felt clogged as if it were closing up. It was growing harder and harder to breathe.
"The way she grips the bed sheets and moans send me goosebumps. I especially like when she throws her head back." his voice was slow and taunting, the grin never leaving her face. Matthias clenched his fists at his sides, counting his breaths. He was ready to send the whole place up in flames, starting with Isidore. He knew it wasn't true. He knew he took Grecia's virginity because of the pain she felt during their first time. If Isidore had any common sense, he'd know taking a girl's virginity could be a painful process.
"I wonder what Grecia would say if she knew you were lying about her sex life." Matthias said, a small smirk playing on his lips. Matthias felt a sense of satisfaction seeing the flabbergasted look upon Isidore's face. "Now why are you really here?"
"I'm here to warn you that I know you're lying." Isidore said. Matthias felt his heart waver. How much did he know? His sentence was very broad, it could have meant a million things. He tried not to show a reaction. "I haven't investigated you yet. And I don't want to."
"Then don't?" Matthias said, matter-of-fact. "If you don't want to then don't."
"Well, you see," Isidore began. "I want Grecia more than I don't want to investigate you. And if you let me have her, your privacy will remain in tact."
Matthias' eye twitched with anger. "You're threatening me."
"I am."
"I suppose you're just going to have to investigate me, then." Derek couldn't help but grin as he met Isidore's eyes. "Because I want her just as badly."
"Have you seen Derek?" Grecia asked Amber. Amber had been the fifth person she'd ask. He had disappeared and shortly after, Isidore did the same. She couldn't help but feel the two disappearances were related to one another. Grecia despised being left out of things, and she was positive whatever they were talking about involved her.
