Changing It Up!

"Hey Elias, it's great to meet you."

"I see you are also of African American descent."

"... Okay then."

"So, Nick said that you would let me check out the shop, right?"

"Yep."

After taking a small look around, Elias said, "Using my skills as a proud business owner, I can safely say that you have a pretty good foundation. But it could use some work."

"Alright, what do I need?"

"There's not much security in here, and the lights seem pretty dull. The floor could have a cool pattern as well."

"I don't think I'm close to being able to afford all that."

"Really? Well, how about this. You can become a partner with Electric Sheep Co."

"... Is that the name of the company?"

"I know it's a weird name you don't have to bully me about it."

"But still, I don't know about the partnership."

"I promise I won't screw you over. Like, seriously, I know that it happens in movies, but I promise, we won't do it. We'll only help you, and you'll be able to stop it at any time. Plus, you'll get to work with me! Who wouldn't want that?"

"Hmm... Alright, I'm sold!"

The shop was closed down for the construction on the new additions to the shop. A small sign was put up front to show that Allan was working with Electric Sheep Co. He would never get over that name, but his name wasn't much better.

But the time that all of the work was done, Elias and Allan had become good friends. The two were chatting with each other, when Olivia walked into the store. "Yo, let me get some Skittles."

"Alright." Allan got a small bag of Skittles and tossed it to Olivia. She put the money on the counter and left as quickly as she came.

Elias looked over to Allan and said, "Look, I know this sounds crazy, but you gotta get me the smash."

"You're scaring me."

"Look, that Olivia person it's one of the most beautiful things that could ever see/hear. And you gotta help me get to know her."

"Ugh, fine. But only because you did all this for me."

"Thank."
