The next day, Allan was about to go out and set up the shop, but the weather said that the big storm was today. Even by looking outside, the clouds looked to be pretty grey. Allan stayed inside of the house, just relaxing, when, a few hours later, he suddenly got a knock on the door. It was Amy.
She immediately walked in. "I accidentally locked myself out, can I stay here until the rain is gone."
"Sure."
"Thank you so much."
She was completely soaked. She must have been stuck out there for a while. Allan got a towel from the closet and gave it to her so she could dry herself off. After she dried off, she sat down on the couch with Allan.
"It's really nice in here."
"Really? Most people say that it's too crowded in here."
"I don't think so. It makes it feel cozy."
"Same here. My friends kept telling me that it was too small of a house to really work with, but I think it turned out okay."
"Yeah, you did a great job with it."
"Thanks. So, do you need something to eat?"
"Sure. What do you have?"
Allan got up and looked in the cabinets and found a bag of popcorn. "I got some popcorn."
"Alright. Do you know how to make it?"
Allan quickly scanned over the instructions. "Yeah."
5 minutes later...
The popcorn was finished. Allan put it in a large bowl and set it down on the table. "Wait, isn't it a little early for popcorn."
"Yeah, but whatever."
"Yeah."
The two happily ate the popcorn. Three reason outside seemed like it was getting worse. The signal for the TV was messing up.
"So, Allan, do you have any movies?"
"No, but I wish I did."
"I could go get some, but, you know. Locked out."
"I know."
The two let out a small laugh when a loud crack of thunder could be heard. Amy had suddenly held on tightly to Allan. After realizing, she let go. "Oh, um, sorry. I'm just really scared of thunder..." Her voice slowly getting quieter as she spoke.
"... I understand."
