Hey guys! I'm back with another chapter! I updated in less than a week and it feels so good! I hope to keep this trend going! Enjoy the chapter and review!
------------------------------------------------------
My eyes fluttered open. When my vision started to clear, I saw that I was back in my room. I looked over and saw my family staring at me from the doorway. "Take a picture," I said with a chuckle. "It'll last longer."

"Will!" my mom yelped. "You're okay!" She ran over to me and hugged me with the strength of a gorilla.

"Ow..." I groaned.

"Oops, sorry!" my mom said quickly as she unlatched herself from my body.

"How long have I been out?" I rubbed my eyes.

"You slept through the night," my mom revealed.

"Jeez..." I mumbled and looked at my clock. "And I missed school. Perfect." I glanced at my dad and saw both Lucy and Sierra in the crooks of his arms.

"They wanted to make sure their big brother was okay," my dad said as he approached me. I smiled and held out my fingers towards the twins, and they squeezed them, with little giggles escaping their mouths.

"Hey Will," Kyle said from the doorway. "Can you please not almost die like, every other week? It's starting to get kind of stressful."

"I'll do my best," I said as I rolled my eyes.

"Kyle's right though, Will," Kaylie said standing beside Kyle. I could see that her face was ridden with worry. "This scares us."

"Hey, it's not my fault that I have this stupid curse," I defended. I hoisted myself out of bed and made my way downstairs to the main room, with my family following me. Right after I fell into the couch, I heard the front door swing open, with the girls and Lewis following after it. Their eyes widened with surprise when they saw I was awake.

Bella was the first to speak. "You're awake!" she smiled from ear to ear. I got up from the couch and she immediately ran into my arms.

"Thanks for snapping me out of it Bells," I said as she buried her head in my shoulder.

"What else was I gonna do?" Bella said, looking into my eyes. I smiled as we broke our embrace. Rikki and Emma were next in line.

Rikki glared at me as she socked me in the shoulder. "Why do you always have to scare me like that?!"

"Agh!" I exclaimed, holding my shoulder in pain. "I don't try to!" I said in defense.

"Well quit it!" Rikki demanded as she hugged me. I couldn't help but smile, even if my shoulder was still throbbing. Rikki always expressed her emotions in the weirdest of ways. "I'm glad you're okay," she whispered sincerely.

"Thanks kid," I said softly. We broke our hug and then Emma chimed in.

"Glad to see that you're still in one piece," she smiled.

"I may not be after that punch," I whined playfully as I rubbed my shoulder. Emma laughed and we shared a hug. Finally, it was Lewis and Cleo's turn. When they walked up to me, I could literally feel the tension between them, and I'm sure everyone else could too. Cleo spoke first.

"Are you sure you're okay?" she asked in concern.

"Yes I promise," I reassured her.

"I'm sorry about what happened," Lewis said solemnly. "I wish I could've been there to help."

"Don't sweat it mate," I said as I clapped him on the shoulder.

"Maybe I could see if I can make more of the stuff that suppresses the curse like I did last time," he suggested.
