I walked towards the box full of scraps and started gathering all the metals and other junk i could possibly use. Im feeling mixed emotions right now and i don't even know if im happy or nervous. What if this turns out bad? What if it fails? I keep on asking myself. But on the other hand, Ill never know this possibly might be a success and finally, just finally for the first time ever, I finally get to have a friend.

But thats of course just my wild thoughts. Theres a bigger chance it will fail, but even so, I won't lose hope nor have too much expectations and end up dissapointing myself again. There's only few problems that i have. First, I have no plans at all and yes, plans are one of the important things you need to do when you are going to do something new. Second, I can't have a plan since im not even sure what a friend looks like or how to do/create one. I just dropped both of these problems and I just went with the flow even though i know this might turn out worse than I thought.

I started making the feet first, placing it on the table. I used odd shapes of metals for its feet which was old and rusty. The right foot was a circular shape while the left foot was more of a rectangular one. I use the broken metal pipe for the legs which was extremely short. I started making the body. It was a broken half piece of a small barrel that was made out of metal, then i started to attach the arms which were the other combined pieces of metals. For its head, i decided to use the helmet.

And for the last steps, I decorated its eyes with flat circle metals and stuck pieces of wood and buttons to its body. I attached sticks with round marbles on both sides of the head to use as its ears and connected wires and springs inside.

I finally did it, the robot was short, too short that it goes only up to my thighs. But i didn't care, what matters is that is here and can be my friend. I didn't mind if it was a bit rusty on some parts either, what matters is that it will stay by my side. The robot was cute and i like it, but it wasn't doing amything.

I knew my plan was a fail, it was a disaster. Even though i warned myself to not expect anything, I feel sad, until i heard a sound coming from the robot. It was blinking......
