Trap: The Unknown

Chapter 9

Robot's POV

Light. A tiny dot of light shining out there. It was warm and bright, it was life. It's going further away out there, I don't want to let go, I must catch it.

Slowly, my eyes were opening. I can feel the waves of electricity flowing through my whole body. And then I saw a girl. She was warm and looked shocked. Was she the warm light i saw? Her eyes were filled with emotions and a sudden joyful expression appeared on her face.

I blinked, trying to figure out if i was in an illussion, but this was real. She walked towards me and greeted me with her lovely smile. She had such a sweet face and I can feel hed warmth inside. Then she asked me "Can you understand me?" her gentle voice flowing through my ears. "Yes i can" but those words never came out, so i just nodded. "Can u talk?" asking another question. "No, im afraid not" i thought. I just moved my head sideways gesturing a "no".

A sudden thought came into me. Where am I? How am I in this world? I looked around my surroundings. It was just a small, dull and empty room filled with dust and junk. Who am I? I asked myself, and who is she? I looked at the girl again. She was smiling, her bright smile lifted me up in joy and a sudden feeling of comfort rushed inside me. Whoever this girl was, she sure knows how to make me feel this way, I thought to myself.

Then I heard her whispering to herself saying "I was fine with it, what matters is that it stays here by my side". Was she talking about me? Im not so sure, but whatever it was, i want to know more about this strange girl and her strange world. Clueless I am for now, but may the answers reveal itself later. And here i was, inside a room with this peculiar girl. And i suddenly remembered, i was chasing the light that brings life inside me.......
