"Are you crazy! you could go to jail!" I exclaimed
"and you're freaking out"
"well, whos not going to freak out when they're told that someone is going to steal the declaration of independence!"
" Look it's the only way to protect it is to steal it before Ian does" He Insisted
"whose Ian?" I asked
"He wants to steal it and use it to find treasure and if he does he's going to destroy the Declaration"
"Then why don't you tell the FBI who he is and if he does they will know who stole it"
"They won't listen they say no one can steal it"
"you know what nevermind... I shouldn't have come anyways " I went towards the door
"Wait come back here" he rubbed his head in frustration
"what do you want... I came here on a 4-hour train ride another hour in a taxi just to figure out that you're going to steal the Declaration of Independence!" I argued
"you know what sit , I'm going to make a phone call" I sat down on the couch setting my bag at my feet
"Who are you going to call," I asked
"a friend" and he took his phone and went in the corner I could hear him whispering to somebody on the phone. I looked around there were pictures of historical events and paper hanging up on the walls and there was an American flag hanging on the wall behind the door and books and papers strewed across the tables. Ben hung up the phone and put it on the kitchen table pulling a chair in front of me.
"So ...
"Alex" I reminded him
"So...Alex why are you here?"
"Well doesn't every child want to find their biological parent"
"But why now," he asked
"Well I think missing out on all of the daddy daughter dances and doughnuts with dad events get to you, and knowing that you have a dad somewhere while everyone else has one...... it get to you and I'm Graduating.. next year and I would've like for both of my parents to be there "
"Enough about me what do you do besides stealing the Declaration of Independence?"I asked
he leaned back and put his hand to his chin "well I'm a cryptologist and a treasure hunter I was recently in Antarctica where I helped find a shipwreck named "The Charolett" which led to all of this"

We sat in silence till I heard footsteps in the hall
"What is such an emergency that I had to come back her...... Ben whos this? he pointed to me
"Uh Riley this is Alex... and she's my daughter" he sounded a little reluctant
"wait you're what?" Riley said Ben pulled him over to the kitchen
"does she know? I heard Riley then they started whisper arguing for about five minutes until they both surrendered
"ok here's the plan while I go and steal the declaration you can stay in the van with Riley"
"seriously Ben you're going to have me babysit"
"Look I don't need to be Babysat but I can't believe I'm going to say this but... let me go with you I can be a lookout or something" I exclaimed
Ben moved his head like he debating on whether or not to allow me
"fine...but you need to change"
heads up most of these chapters are going to end like this because its based off a movie and I want to write as many chapters as I can..... so yeah (sorry for that weird time gap I just had a really bad brain fart I really didn't know what to do there but I'm moving on)
