Ch 15

Laurens Pov:

The next few days were all a blur. They went so fast and it is currently Thursday. These past few days have basically been a routine of either me walking Camila to her classes or her walking me to mine. Honestly she is so amazing and I hope what I have planned will be special enough. It's a surprise on her behalf and I wanted it to be perfect.

I may have had to get some help from Dinah to pull it off and maybe even Mani, but, it's totally worth it for her.

"Laur?" Camilas heavenly voice got me out of my daze. "Yeah babe?" I replied quickly. I'd never get used to calling her that.

"You zoned out again." She was smiling widely and I couldn't help but smile back. I began to stand up, bringing her up with me. "Sorry, it's just I have a very special date with a very special person tomorrow and I need it to be as flawless as she is." We put our lunch-trays in the trash and began to walk towards our lockers, hands intertwined and swaying back and forth.

"Awww, Laur you could literally take me to Chuck E Cheese and it would be the most amazingest date ever." Camila spoke sweetly, lifting my hand to place a quick peck and lowering it again. I blushed at the gesture.

"Thanks Camz, but who said my date tomorrow was with you?" I grinned ear to ear while she feigned offence. "You know, you are such an idiot." Camila huffs, crossing her arms in the process and jutting her bottom lip out.

"Awww baby, I was kidding. You're the most special person ever." I tried to pry her arms and hug her but she wouldn't budge. She turned her back to me and began to pull books out of her bag and swap them with the ones in her locker.

Once she turned back around I took her hands into mine before she could cross them. I could feel her beginning to smile as I stroked her hands with my thumbs. I lifted my head and gave Camila a quick peck before pulling back and proceeding to kiss every inch of her face. I heard her giggle and so I pulled away with a massive smile.

"You're so cute." With our smiles never leaving we leaned in for a proper kiss just before we had to leave for our next class. Once our lips touched I felt her sigh in satisfaction. After a couple minutes our moment was ruined by the one and only.

"YO NO PDA IN THE SCHOOL HALLWAYS!"

We pulled apart and spoke in unison. "Shut up Dinah!" She smirked and raised her hands in defence. "I'm just saying." Mani, who was holding Dinahs hand just laughed and muttered out an 'I agree.' And then we were off to class.

Currently sitting in my car, I definitely was not this nervous earlier. I mean, it's not like I haven't been to Camilas' house before. Heck, I've even kissed her already, (go me!) but it happened to feel different.

She's just Camila, I shouldn't be nervous, but that's exactly it. She's Camila. I don't want to screw it up with her. And that's what goes through my head as I knock on her front door.

"Hi." She breathes out once she opens the door and I can't even respond. She stands there in black cut off ripped jeans and a crop top with minimal makeup and she looks absolutely fucking amazing. Damn.

"Wow." Is all I manage to say. "I could say the same thing Jauregui." She eyes me from head to toe and then winks. I look down at my lana del ray shirt with ripped jeans and my leather jacket.

"M'lady." I stuck out my hand for her to hold and saw the slight blush tint her cheeks. She took my hand and we walked to my car. I opened her door for her and she wore the biggest smile.

I quickly jogged to the drivers' side of the car and hopped in. "Such a gentlewoman." Camila spoke giggling after. "Only for you." I responded with a glint in my eyes.A smile graced her face as I practically tripped over myself trying to get in the car. Once I'm in Camila turns to me with a smug smirk, "Smooth babe." I brush her off by telling her 'I was meant to do that' and she blessed my ears with her beautiful laugh.

As I hoped, the journey in the car went smoothly. Sure, I could have used my vamp speed but I wanted tonight to be just normal for once. In less than ten minutes I pulled up to a secluded beach. I glanced at Camila to try and gauge her reaction but she was already looking at me with the most tender expression ever.

"How did you know this was my favourite beach? Did Dinah mention it? Are we going to have a picnic?" I chuckled at her eagerness and reached into the back of my car. I reached for the picnic basket and blanket. "Dinah, yes and yes." I answered her wittily before basically running over to her side of the car to open the door. Her cheeks flushed red and she muttered out a small 'thanks'. I just smiled and took her hand into mine, placing a quick peck on the back of her hand.

"So, what has the famous Lauren Jauregui brought for this picnic then?" I giggled at her, "Well, I happen to know that the famous Camila Cabello loves bananas so I made sure to bring some of those as well as ham and cheese sandwiches. Oh, and some strawberries too." Camila marvelled at me, her smile reaching her eyes while she dramatically reaches over heart and says "You know the way to my heart." I shook my head at her antics.

Our picnic went smoothly and the two of us were grinning ear-to-ear. So far the night has been great. We spent hours upon hours just talking and really getting to know one another. She was shocked to learn that my father was the Mike Jauregui, she said she just thought that he was a distant relative of mine.

"Have you ever been cliff diving?" I question Camila as we gather the wrappers and blankets from the sand. She looks at me expectantly and I just shake my head. "Of course you have." I hear her giggle then take my hand into hers.

"I think the real question here is, have you ever been cliff diving?" Camila asks, pulling me towards the car and chucking our stuff in. I ponder the thought. "Nope, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to jump off a cliff with anyone else." A big smile has graced her lips and she is already bringing me up the rocky area and towards the cliffs.

"Do you trust me?"

"Yes." And I meant it so much that it scared me. I've known her for such a little amount of time, but deep down I could feel it, that she was mate and I hers. And like I said earlier, I wouldn't have it any other way.
