Covers has conquered most of Japan. Two small figures are secretly stealing some food above ground, keeping hidden from the Covers.

"Hurry, Guts!"

As much as they could grab, they run off from the abandon food stand, then run into one of the Covers.

"Get outta my way, you stinkin' business suit!" Throws a tomato at its chest "How d'ya like that?!"

They run off to the other side, only to step on another Cover, both being apprehended.

"Oh, crap! Could this be the end of the line for Matarou Mankanshoku?!"

A sound of slashes are heard, dropping Matarou and Guts to the floor, both confused of what happened.

"Return to the rags whence you came!" A petite with pink hair donning Nudist Beach gear wielding a small blade forged from Bakuzan slices off the Life Fibers as the Covers fall to the ground.

Matarou: "You're that chick from the Elite Four!"

Jakuzure: "Oh, you're that slacker's---" More Covers appear from above, "The streets are crawling with these scraps of cloth...Let's get out of here!"

Matarou and Guts inside a manhole, gesturing her to follow "Then follow me!" She quickly hops in, closing the lid.

Coming to one of the sewer exits, leading to a small shack home where a few other kids trying to survive the invasion.

Jakuzure: "So you kids have survived on your own this past month, huh? You're that slacker's kid brother, all right. Your ability to survive this is the one impressive thing about you"

Getting peeved "The name's Matarou!"

Jakuzure: "Hmph, come on. My ride's waiting over there"

"Run! Run! Hurry! There's a chopper waiting just across this hill!" Sanageyama is evacuating the citizens, suddenly Covers appear from the sky "Damn, they caught up, huh?" Gripping his damaged Ultima Uniform "Hold together..."

Transforming into his Three-Star Ultima Uniform "Blade Regalia Mk 3!"

The Covers shoot out Life Fibers, Sanageyama swiftly cuts them away. Abruptly, his uniform has reach its limit and literally unravelled at the seams "GAH!"

Students step in to defend the naked monkey "Boss! We'll hold them off here!"

Sanageyama: "You guys..."

One of them turn to him "We of the Northern Gang Leader Alliance have our own pride!"

Sanageyama: "Understood. Show those rag bastards what human beings will do when their backs are against the wall!"

The gang wield brutally-looking melee weapons "Okay, guys, cut loose!" The Covers begin to take them "Tear them a new one from the inside!"

The Covers consume them as the gang fight from the inside, giving Sanageyama and the remaining citizens to escape.

Sanageyama: "Hurry! Climb aboard while they're distracted!" Entering into one of the cargobobs, turning to see the Covers spit out weapons "I'm sorry guys..."
