Deciding to tell Derrick my story was easier than I thought. Everything came out without even thinking about it. He did as promised and listens to the entire story before asking questions. There were a few growls throughout but it was understandable why he was growling. I hated that I have lied to everyone that I know, and telling Derrick about my powers was a weight lifted off of me that I never knew I had. My chest felt lighter and I could finally breathe without worrying about someone catching me while I was practicing my powers. I had to show him some of my powers though. I could see the look in his eye that he didn't believe it.

"Follow me," I said as I walked over to his bathroom.

"Why are we going into the bathroom Hailey?" Derrick asks.

"I need to show you what I can do," I tell him, "you need to see it to believe me."

"I do believe you," he states.

"No you don't," I yell back, "I see it in your eyes. You don't believe me, but you will after I show you."

I turn on the faucet in the shower, I turn to look at him as I make the water float above the floor. I see him looking in disbelief at first. Looking from me to the water, he runs a hand through his hair before asking me another question.

"Can you only do this with water?"

"No," I state, "I can use all the elements. Fire, wind, earth, and water. I am the only one of my siblings that has the ability to use all the elements. That is why they are coming for me and why I need to find my siblings. And before you say it is dangerous, I know it is. I know I am going to need you to help me. We need to tell Thomas and Malcolm and get others to help. This war is not just me anymore, it is all of us. These witches are trying to take us all out and we have to stop them now."

"OK. We will help, BUT you have to let me protect you Hailey. As an Alpha, I have to protect my mate. Nothing you say or do will stop my urge to protect what is mine. You have to promise me that you will listen to what we all have to say and go with our plans. We have been at war before and we need to come at them with force and strategy and not straight on. OK?" Derrick asks me.

"OK. Lets tell the others first, then we can go over things. I have to locate my siblings first before we can do anything. We will tell everyone together," I say to him.

"OK," he says while pushing my hair back with his hands. I feel the tingles running down my face to my neck. I want to feel his touch everywhere but I stop myself. I grab his hands into mind and give them a squeeze before releasing them.

"We should get some sleep. It will be a long day tomorrow and we should both be rested before then," I whisper to him. The look in his eyes tells me that he doesn't want me to leave, but he understands why.

"You're right. Sweet dreams beautiful," he says as we are walking into the hallway.

"Good night Derrick," I say before shutting my bedroom door. It is now 2 AM and I don't think I will be able to sleep after what just happened. My heart is racing once again and so is my mind. I need to breathe and think clearly. But how can I do that with everything that is going on? What will get me to calm down now?

"Find our siblings Hailey," Cassandra says. "You need to think about them and let our connection to them flow through your mind."

"Yes. I can do that. Then I will be able to tell everyone tomorrow, while in a few hours, where they are," I say back to her.

Sitting in the middle of my bedroom floor cross-legged, I take deep breathes while trying to calm my racing heart. Not sure how to start this connection into finding my siblings.
