Once we reach the Black Lake, I cast a spell and two cushions appear. I take a seat on one and Draco sits on the other. "It's better to talk here without prying ears....why did you ask me to go with you to the Ball tonight? Did you ask me just because I'm a princess? Because I'm not half muggle?" Draco looks almost hurt.
"No, I asked you because...well...because I like you. You make me happy. I couldn't care less if you were a princess or not." Draco explains as he grabs my hand and rubs his thumb over the back of my palm.
"I-I like you too...hence why I said yes." I blush a deep red. I look up to the stars and just gaze. He mimics me before putting an arm around me and pulling me closer. Before long, we have to head back to the common room. I kiss his cheek goodnight before heading up to my room, looking over my shoulder one last time at my Malfoy.
