Chapter 6

Izzy POV

I wake up the next morning to a knock on the door. I get out of bed not realizing who it could be. I open the door to see Lip and Ian. They were talking to each other before Lip turns and looks me up and down.

"Nice pants Iz" he smirks as I look down realizing I never put pants on after I got out of bed. I feel my cheeks get hot as I smile back. I let the boys in before I run and put shorts on. I get out of my room and order the boys to start unpacking while I get decent. I run to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair and add a bit of makeup. I pull my blue hair into a pony tail and come out to see them hard at work. I smile as I stand back for a second. I have made two pretty good friends in Chicago already.

"Hey Iz you coming to help or what?" Ian says with a laugh

"Uh yeah be right there" I say reaching for the coffee pot I had from the box in front of me, I go to grab ground coffee before I realize I haven't gone shopping for any food yet. I sigh as I put the coffee pot back.

"Whats wrong?" Ian says with concern.

"I haven't gone grocery shopping yet and I'm really not ready to leave the house yet today."

"Here give me some money and I'll run out. What do you need?" Ian says. This boy saves me

"just pick up some coffee grounds and snacks, whatever you think is good I'm sure I will like it. Oh and here take my car." I say throwing the redhead my keys.

"Sure thing, I will run to Kash'n'Grab and I'll be right back." he says as he leaves.

I look over at Lip who is still hard at work as I grab a box and stat unpacking myself. I am unpacking my kitchen boxes when I feel Lip grab my waist. He turns me around so I am looking in his eyes.

"Hows the kitchen comin' beautiful" He smirks.

"Great thanks for asking love" I smirk back as he leans in kissing me.

As much as he said he wanted to take it slow and I agreed we both wanted this kiss more then anything. I pull away before asking if Ian knew about us.

"he knows I'm into you, but that's it." Lip blushes.

"Lets keep this between us for now? Just until i get settled in and we start to see each other more then two times"

"sure thing princess" He says as he kisses me. We drag of the kiss before he pulls away, lifting a stick to his lips and lights it. I reach for the cigarette after he inhales and take a hit myself. He smiles pulling me into a hug. Pull out of the hug and start unpacking which leads him to also start. We continue unpacking until Ian walks threw the door. As he walks in Ian screams "HONEY IM HOME"

Me and Lip look at each other and laugh before walking over and grabbing the bags from Ian. I then run and set up the coffee pot and start making the coffee. Normally every morning I make coffee before I do anything. So this morning has been odd for me. I wait for the coffee to be done before pouring three cups and walk back into the living room to see Lip and Ian talking. I hand them the coffee as we all sit on the floor.

"looks like you guys actually did a lot while I was gone." Ian says looking around the apartment.

"Yeah I think its time for a break? How about we head over to our house and maybe go show you around Chicago?" Lip asks

"Sure, just let me get ready." I say us i run into my room, changing into some nicer clothes and taking my hair down. I look in the mirror satisfied with my appearance before grabbing my back and walking out. I grab my keys off of the Island and go towards the boys

"I'm driving if we are exploring Chicago."

"I am fine with that" Ian says as he walks in front of me and Lip out the door. As i walk towards the door i feel Lips hand snake around my waist. I turn and give him a look before he mouths "sorry I had too" towards me. He then takes his hand away before Ian sees.

I lock the door and we walk towards my car.

2 hours later

The Gallagher boys take me around some of their favourite places in the south side and even showed me the school we would all be attending two weeks when school started again. They now insisted that we meet some people as we walk into a bar that the called "the alibi".

We walk in to see a man with long hair and a dark female working behind the bar

"LIP AND IAN" the man says lifting his arms up. "is this the girl fiona told us about last night.?"

"Sure is, Kev and V this is Izzy, Izzy this is Kev and V our neighbours and family. "Lip says with a smile.

I reach my hand out to shake their hands before Kev pulls me in for a hug. This people are so welcoming. i think to myself. We sat their for about an hour talking with them and having a beer before we made or way back to the Gallaghers. I walk in the the boys and all heads turn our way as everyone yells "IZZY' and Debbie and carl hug me. This family doesn't really know me and they act like I have lived here for years. They all welcome me to come sit and watch tv with them. I take a seat with Lip on the chair by the window. Lip pulls out a cigarette and we share it as Ian grabs us another beer. We sit watching Tv until fiona brings the kids to bed. We wait until she comes back down and we all sit and talk. Ian goes to bed because of early morning training and me Fiona and Lip are left alone.

"So are you guys a thing?" She says making me very nervous. I really didn't want to ruin my relationship with this family so soon just because me and Lip were together.

Lip looks at me before I answer " Uh yeah I guess so, I am sorry I can leave." I say getting up.

"Iz sit your ass down, its okay I'm happy for you." she smiles

"Oh, I didn't expect that" I laugh a little as i sit back with lip.

"We were all hoping you guys were together, We like you Iz." Fiona says with a smile

"Well I like you guys too" I smile as Lip places his hand on my thigh.

This is the family I have been missing. I here the door open and Kev and V walk in. They come and take a seat beside Fiona before looking at me and Lip

"SEE V I TOLD YOU! THEY ARE TOGETHER"

"Oh whatever" she says before handing him a bill. "We had a bet" she says before smiling back at us.

Chicago is already better then I thought it would be. We all sit there and talk about random things. I get lost in my thoughts about how things re at home and me and Lip and pretty much everything until Lip says my name

"Iz? you okay?'

"I'm perfect" I say smiling at him as he kisses my forehead. "but i should head home, I'll see you all tomorrow?"

"Sure! You still need help unpacking?" Fiona says answering for the group.

"Actually yes I do, you guys can come over around 10?"

"We will be there." Kev says

"How about I walk you home?" Lip says as he stands up reaching for my hand.

"Sure, Goodnight everyone" I wave earning a huge goodbye from the group.

I grab my bag and reach for my sticks before lighting one and walking home with Lip. What a perfect day.
