Note: In making this timeline, I kept as many of the dates from the calendars in Appendix B of The Lord of the Rings as possible, but I only listed events relevant to this story. I also further explain certain events only mentioned briefly in To the End of Her Days. The years are in Shire Reckoning.

Events Before Arwen's Journey

1373 (Shire Reckoning)

October
5 – Mirabella Cottontree, daughter of Mermac and Ruby, born

December
5 – Mermac and Ruby Cottontree pass away. Bill Ferny finds baby Mira and almost kills her. Butterbur saves her and forces Bill to adopt her.

October
Bill forces Mira to work in his stable at 5 years old

1388

April
Bill forces Mira to work at the Prancing Pony.

1400

February
Butterbur tells Mira the truth about her parents. Bill becomes abusive, often in drunken rages.

July
Bill whips Mira unconscious. Mira runs away.

August
Gloin and Gimli find Mira in the Misty Mountains and decide to nurse her back to health. They take her with them to Erebor and chose to conceal her nationality.

Gandalf reads Scrolls of Isildur and discovers the prophecy of Final Ringbearers and Heru en e Korma

1418 – 1419

The Great Years, in which Frodo and his Company save Middle-earth by destroying the Ring of Power

25 – Frodo destroys the Ring of Power and Sauron passes away

1 – Gloin and Mira arrive in the White City
2 – Mira and Frodo meet
3 – Frodo learns Mira is a hobbit. Mira begins to share her story with Frodo
16 – Frodo asked Mira to marry him. They make plans to conceal their marriage
20 – Frodo Baggins marries Mirabella Cottontree; Mira, Gimli, and Gloin leave White City

Mid-Year's Day – King Elessar marries Arwen Undomiel

19 – The Company begin their return journey

The Scouring of the Shire. Bill Ferny banished from the Shire by Frodo.

15 – After befriending the half-brother of the late steward Denothor, King Elessar chooses Belethor as his adviser. At Belethor's request, he does not assume the title of steward but agrees to fulfill the king's duties in the event of his absence.
21 – After Bill Ferny's dishonest business dealings are exposed, he is banished from Bree.

May
1 – Samwise Gamgee marries Rose Cotton

13 – Mira visits Frodo at Bag End

6 – Mira leaves Bag End
14 – Eldarion and Belthil, twin son and daughter of King Elessar and Queen Arwen, born
25 – Elanor Gamgee, daughter of Sam and Rose, born

3 – While resting in Rivendell on her return journey to Erebor, Mira discovers that she is with child. She decides to stay in Rivendell until Frodo's last journey. She sends Frodo a letter.
