Resurgence...

When we woke up the next morning we didn't realize what we had done...If I could go back and stop myself from picking up that damn rock...I would.

Blood covered the walls and floors of the entire house, organs were thrown about half eaten and torn apart. Our mothers faces were peeled off and stuck on the living room walls. Raven and I were horrified. A honk was heard coming from our mothers room, a gloved hand opened the door slowly and the bloody face of a clown slowly emerged. His teeth were jagged and yellow, pieces of flesh still hung from his mouth. A chilling cackle came from behind him as a second clown slid his ugly head around the doorway, smiling that God awful smile. We didn't know what to do, we stood frozen in fear. The clowns slowly crept from the room, moving towards us with those glaring yellow eyes. The yellow toothed clown grabbed me by the shoulders and lifted me into the air, its jaw snapped and cracked as its mouth opened wider than natural. The other clown grabbed my brother by his arms and started to pull them outwards. I scream escaped my lips as I realized what was happening. My brother started to cry out in pain as his arms were being stretched farther than they were supposed to. Suddenly the roof collapsed in and a man landed on the rubble. Without a word he rose quickly with two .500 Magnum revolvers in his hand, he took aim at the clowns and blasted them. Both went down screaming and howling in pain. The man grabbed my brother and I then leaped out of the hole he created in out roof, we landed in the street as we looked back at the house. The man aimed his left pistol at the house and fired another shot that engulfed our home in blue flames. He jumped into the air again and flew us away.

I woke up in a strange room that was barely illuminated by a small lantern.
"Raven!"
No response. I began to panic and quickly got out of the bed I was laying in. I found the door to the room on my left and started banging on it. The door opened and the man that saved us was standing at it. I took a step back.
"Where is my bro-"
The man put a finger to his lips.
"Your brother is fine, he is eating right now, would you like to see him?" The man said calmly.
I nodded and followed him through a long winding hallway that led to a brightly colored and lit room. Raven was watching tv and eating cereal. I ran to him and hugged him, running my hands through his hair to see if I could find any cuts or bruises on his head. I reached down to his arms and looked them over as well.
"Don't worry, he is okay." I heard the mans voice from behind me.
"What the hell were those things?!" I shouted with a cracking voice.
"They are the manifestation of Evil and Chaos." The man said.
"What, no that is insane. They were fucking clowns!" I shouted.
"That was the form that they had taken yes, but that does not change that they are monsters nonetheless."
"Then explain to me how exactly did you find us?"
"I felt them awaken. You see I had imprisoned them within the stone that you and your brother unfortunately found."
I sat down and shook my head.
"Cas, He is a friend." Raven said grabbing my hand.
Tears formed in my eyes as I held my brothers hand.
"Why couldn't you save our mothers?"
"I am truly sorry, it took me longer than I had anticipated to find your exact location." The man lowered his head. "But I managed to save you two."
"Yeah, but not before they slaughtered our mothers..."
"I am sorry. I promise that you will have your revenge. I will see to teaching you both how to battle these monsters, and eventually imprison them again."
"No, I don't want any part of this! Nothing in what you just told me makes any damn sense!" I screamed.
"I want to learn." Raven said standing up. "I want to fight."
"Raven I-"
"No Cas, they were my parents too, I loved them and I am not just going to turn my back to this. Teach me." Raven said pushing me aside.
I lowered my head.
"Fine, if you are going to do this I'm not letting you go alone. But I am only going to get these things then that's it." I said.
The man smiled and shook our hands.
"Call me Wolf."

Five years...we spent five years training with Wolf, growing stronger and faster and taking these supplements that gave us supernatural abilities. Raven was incredibly strong and could jump extremely high and very long. I was able to move things with my mind and manipulate the elements. We found out that Wolf was able to control any form of heat, fly, and he possessed incredible strength like Raven. The supplements reacted different with everyone who took them. They also stopped everyone who took them from aging. Everything became a routine of weapons training and using our abilities and hand to hand combat. Until one day, the news showed a small town that was suddenly deserted. Everyone was missing and empty cars littered the streets. Wolf looked on edge.
"Looks like we found them, after all this time." Wolf said calmly.
"But there is no one there, no bodies. Nothing." I said looking at the images on screen.
"There doesn't need to be. Can't you feel them?"
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, one of their faces lunged at me and I opened my eyes in terror, falling to the ground.
"Does this mean they can see us as well?" I asked standing up.
"No, it is a one way link to help us locate and kill monsters and beasts."
"Gear up."

Wolf stepped onto the cracked pavement of the ghost town and looked around, carefully loading his pistols. Raven grabbed his AR from the holster on his back and slammed a clip into it. I pulled the sniper rifle from the trunk of Wolfs car and looked for a water tower or a high building to go into. I looked around and found exactly what I was looking for, an apartment complex to my right had a high enough view of the entire town, it would be perfect for keeping a watch one everyone. Raven and Wolf went through every building searching for these horrible creatures. I kept checking behind me every thirty seconds to make sure I wasn't the one being hunted, and every time that I checked I saw nothing, but I had that feeling...
Wolf and Raven walked to the center of the towns main road and waved at me. Suddenly they bolted towards me and I knew why, I turned on my heel sharply and hit one of those bastards with the butt of my rifle, it staggered back and shrieked in a high pitched voice. The second clown popped up from the ground beneath me and pulled me through the floor. We went down a few stories before Raven grabbed me and ripped me from the clowns grasp. The clown stopped a floor beneath us and jumped up to meet us with a menacing stare. I admired my brother, he didn't flinch or panic, he punched that thing straight in the face and sent its lower jaw flying at mach one across the room. The clown fell backwards and its hands grabbed at where its jaw once was, it was making a horrible sound. It collapsed onto its knees then looked at us calmly. Raven put his arm in front of me and stood his ground. The clown rose slowly and when it moved its hands we saw that its jaw had already began to regenerate.
"That's not fair..." I groaned lifting up my rifle and firing off a round into its skull. It's head popped like a pimple and Raven took off with me right on his heels. We looked around for Wolf and saw him kicking the other clown off the balcony engulfed in flames.
"Get down to the main road. Open area!" Wolf ordered us as he jumped after the clown.
We ran out to the main road and got back to back with each other.
"They regenerate." Raven told Wolf.
"I know, that was why I trapped them. I don't know how to kill these damn things." Wolf said frustrated.
Both clowns were walking out of the apartment complex slowly and with bone clubs in their hands.
"These aren't like ordinary monsters, don't be afraid to get up close and personal!" Wolf shouted as he ran up and gut punched a clown, sending a shock wave through its body so powerful that its spine burst from its back. Wolf dodged the seconds clowns swing and Raven moved in for the strike. I put my rifle on my back and pulled Ravens AR from his back. As the two kept punching and kicking I was circling the fight firing off rounds into the clowns. Raven ducked under a swing from the club and brought his fist up, when he connected the clowns head flew off and blood sprayed out like a fountain. Wolf tripped the other one then swiftly unholstered his revolvers and fired off 12 rounds into its skull. Both bodies laid lifeless.
"I thought you said they couldn't be killed?" I asked walking over, handing Raven his weapon.
"They can't, but we can buy time. Quickly, make two graves and shove their bodies into them. Raven, I need the lighter fluid from the car. Hurry!"
Raven ran to the car while I manipulated the ground beneath us to swallow the clowns bodies.
"Don't close it yet, douse them with it then light them up."
Raven pour half a bottle on each clown and I sparked the fires.
"This will buy us some time, not much but it will be enough."

If only that was true...
