Cyrus

I landed in the street across Camila's house.

Thankfully no one was around. It was late but honestly you never know what nonsense humans get up to nowadays.

I crossed the deserted road and made my way to her front door. I knocked and waited patiently for someone to come open.

It usually took a while because Camila and Andres always argued on who would get the door.

That night, however, the door was opened in less than five minutes: a new record.

"Andres! Uhm hello." I greeted him.

His smile literally vanished when he saw that it was me.

"You. You have great timing, don't you?" He replied coolly.

I only noticed then that he had his keys in his hand and a jacket on.

"Uhm are you going somewhere? Where's Camila?"

He rolled his eyes. "So, you drop her like she's garbage and then when she's missing, you show up like a knight in shining armour."

"What?! She's missing?!" I exclaimed.

He gave me a pointed look but didn't say anything.

He walked out the door and locked it.

"Andres-"

He turned around and cut me off.

"I don't want to hear it." He said.

"Listen to me, Andres!" I insisted as he stepped past me.

"And why should I? You hurt my sister and the only reason I haven't pounded your face in is because she's in danger and needs me." He said before climbing into the car and driving off.

I could've forced him to tell me what was going on but my head was too full of rambling thoughts and terrible possibilities.

Am I too late?

Did the Trerry get to her?

Where is she?!

I pulled at my hair in frustration.

Camila, where are you? Where did you go?

I put my invisibility shield on and jumped into the air.

I flew around the whole city for goodness knows how long.

I didn't know where to look and I couldn't think of any places she could be taken to.

I couldn't even think clearly because of the panic rising in my chest. I felt hopelessness and terror claw at my throat, making it hard to breathe.

Camila, where are you? Please you've got to tell me where you are!

I tried calling out to her in my mind but she was not responding.

I tried several more times anyway.

I was flying over some trees when I heard her.

Cyrus! Help! Help me please! Cyrus!

"Camila!" I gasped.

She was in pain-I could feel it.

I just had to get to her. I turned back sharply and flew at lightning speed towards her voice.
