Painful Past

I sat in the library silently reading. Trying to concentrate on the words but I kept thinking about Aiden and his offer. I hoped he wasn't lying because that definitely would've been a problem.

Now what? How could I track down a ghost that needs my help? Could it be the same ghost that keeps on appearing and dis----.

"Medium right?" someone asked with a girly tone. I looked up and found a girl with piercing hazel eyes and brown chestnut hair looking down at me. "Yes?" I said.

"There must've been some misunderstanding but...that's kind of where I like to sit" she smiled sweetly. "Umm I didn't think the library has reserved seats for anyone" I remained calm with my tone trying not to sound annoyed.

She frowned and then looked around. Slowly, she leaned down and got right in my face, "Since you're new here I guess it's not such a big deal but listen, whenever I'm around, you go by my rules only. And if you don't like them then don't bother coming to this school" she said with a very menacing tone.

I looked into her eyes and firmly said, "Well if I'm new here then you should know that I don't go by anyone's rules." "Bad choice then" she glared as she plopped down on the seat across from me. "Don't expect me to be nice in any kind of way" she advised coldly.

I shrugged and went back to my book. Was this the girl Owan had warned me about?

After school I went shopping with Nageeta. Earlier she had shyly asked me to go with her because later she would be going to the movies. The thing that surprised me the most was that she was going with Caleb.

"Do you like Caleb?" I asked watching her search through the dress rack. She blushed, "No...we're only friends that's all."

"Boys don't notice girls sometimes" I muttered. Nageeta looked at me, "Is that an experience you're talking about?"

I laughed bitterly, "You could say that." "So does that mean you liked boys once?" Nageeta asked.

I shot her a look, "What's that supposed to mean?! I'm not a lesbian!"

"Oh I just that since you don't ever blush or express anything when you're around Owan" Nageeta said trying to help. "Owan!? Just because I'm not girly around guys or anything doesn't mean I don't like boys!" I said annoyed.

Nageeta avoided looking at me and continued looking for an outfit as she said, "Sorry."

Stereotypical?

On the drive back home, everything was silent. No talking. No smiling. No nothing.

Had I hurt her feelings or something?

When she dropped me off at my so-called house I turned to her, "See you tomorrow...I guess."

Nageeta nodded, smiling a bit. I guess she wasn't hurt.

As she drove off I noticed her car plate said 'N.O.C 1999'.

Nageeta, Owan and Caleb...how long have they been friends?

That night I slowly drifted into unconsciousness going back to the ghost realm (yeah that's what I call it). The reality dream. My reality dream.

I appeared in front of a path with gravestones around me. Ghost aura's hung near them. Probably protecting their own stone. As if anyone would steal it!
