One drop, two drops, three drops.

It slowly began to drizzle as I walked down the street with my hood on. I liked rain. I liked the earthy smell of grass and soil it gave off. Fresh somehow.

"Want a ride sweetie" someone asked. I turned my head.

A  black Honda with a brunette guy looking at me and 2 other guys in the back. "No thanks" I muttered. Did I know him?

"Are you sure? We got one more seat in the back....Mrs.Owan" he mockingly said. I glared at him. So this is what its about! "I hear you guys live together...what you guys do in the spare time...play?" they all laughed in the backseat.

"I'm not interested in Owan" I muttered distastefully. "Well be careful. We don't want anything happening to his new step-sister" the guy smirked. I clenched my fists, "Go to hell." They drove off with laughter trailing out the car's window.

Jerks, if only I could make ghosts scare people.

Opening my locker, I thought about Dahlia. From what I've seen I know she must've felt pain, guilt and grief. How was I supposed to make her feel happy and joyful? Ugh!

"Medium!"

I turned and found Nageeta approaching me. "Yes?" I stared at her. Her hair was all flattened from the water but she still looked like a foreign princess. "Have you heard about the field trip? It's going to be for all of us freshmen and guess what!? It's at an artifact museum!" Nageeta exclaimed, surprising me by her high raised voice.

"Why are you so happy?" I asked.

"I'm going to learn about being an Archaeologist after high school so maybe this museum could help me improve on a few things" Nageeta said cheerfully. Her usual shy self had completely disappeared. This must've been something amazing to her.

"When are we going?" I asked noticing the football team was flocked with a few fan girls.

"Next Monday...." Nageeta's eyes wondered off behind me and I looked over my shoulder to find Caleb leaning against a girls locker as he flirted with her.

"Are you sure you don't like Caleb?" I asked. Nageeta shot me a look, "Don't jump to conclusions." I shrugged, "I can if that look of yours proves you're monitoring his girl friends."  "He's still single" Nageeta argued. Quickly realizing how much that said.

"Oh so you keep data now. He's 'still' single you say" I smirked. Nageeta blushed, "N-no I dont...but...I do sort of have a small crush on him." Her eyes fluttered down and I wondered just how much had she been holding back.

At that precise moment I felt a familiar ghost presence. But half of the presence felt...human. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Aiden walking down the hall towards me. Anger surged into me. Oh so now he decides to show up!

"I have to go" I muttered distastefully to Nageeta.

I started heading down the hall, increasing my pace a little. "Medium!" Aiden's voice called. Ugh. A few heads turned my way. I glared at them. Ghost aura's began to surround them and I stopped. That's not what I wanted!

"Go away!" I hissed under my breath. Since when do they go by my emotions? The aura's retracted.

"Medium...how did you do that?" Aiden asked as he stopped next to me. "I dont know" I mumbled. As if I knew it all. "Why were you calling my name?" I asked annoyed. Seeing his face made me feel a bit weird. It made my heart stutter.
