Their voices are hard to ignore
When life to me is just a closed door
Sticks and stones still hurt less
Than the knives within their words
I wish they'd just go away
But they bother me every day
So I say my prayers
And wave goodbye
To the cruel world
To the hate
To the pain
To everything that hurts
