Chapter 59: Y/d/n

I stood next to Yato and we watched our child play with her stuffed toys. "She's growing up, Yato." I said saddly. He rudded my arm. "Growing up beautifully." He said quietly.

Y/d/n POV

I played with my toys as Takeo watched me. I smiled at him as he sat down by my side. "Here!" I shouted and handed him my toy. He smiled and took it from me. We played together and laughed. Takeo was so nice just like Yuki. I laughed looking at my mother and father. My mother wore a look of saddness which made me stand up. I walked over to her and hugged her legs. She rubbed my Y/h/c and hummed in response. 

I took a step back slipping over my foot. "Ow..." I trailed off as I sat on the floor. Yukine walked towards me and lifted me up before petting my head. Yuki! I smiled and grabbed his hand. My parents laughed as we walked away into the kitchen. "Yuki, is nice." I said sweetly making him laugh. "Thank you, Y/d/n." He said getting a glass from the top shelf. "I'm going to be that tall one day, Yuki. I wanna be tall like you!" I shouted jumping up and down. He sighed and rubbed my hair once again. Yuki, likes me.

Yato POV

I was making a small cake since it was Y/d/n birthday. Her third birthday actually. I wonder when she will stop growing up? I mean since she's half god and half human. I just wonder what age she would stop growing and if she would became a regalia like her mother or a goddess? I shouldn't think about that right now, though. Y/n walked into the kitchen and started to help me decorate the cake. "Aww, it's so cute." She said softly. I laughed as I thought of something. I placed a bit of icing on my finger and dabbed it onto her nose. She blushed and smacked my hand away. "Yato, no." She wined and wiped it off of her nose. "So, cute though." I said and smiled.

Later...

Y/d/n stood standing looking at the cake in awe. "It looks nice." She commented. Y/n placed three birthday candles on the cake and lit them up. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Y/d/n, happy birthday to you." We all sang. Y/d/n looked at us and smiled. "Thank you." She said sweetly and blew out the candles. She looks so adorable.

After awhile I sliced the cake and everyone was eating their pieces. Y/n and I were sitting next to each other as the three children were on the floor. "Y/n, about Y/d/n." I said looking at her. Y/n looked at me and knitted her eyebrows together. "If she were to become a regalia, like you and Yukine. Would you want that for her?" I asked. She looked shocked. "If she would become a Goddess from my side. Would that be better for her?" I asked. Y/n laughed. "Yato, I think it's her decision to make. I mean would am I to decide her future? Let her choose." She said and smiled. Okay, I'll let our daughter choose.

I wonder what will happen when she grows older? Will she find love and do the same thing I did? Having a family was the best thing that could happen to me. I looked at Y/n. Her Y/e/c, soft lips and Y/h/c. She was all I ever needed.
