...Lunch was filled with more jokes and laughter and Riddhima smiled as she tried to help Nikita join in the conversation; she had seen how quiet Nikita was since she had arrived and thought that it had something to do with her not knowing the family so she tried to make her feel welcome.
Nikita on the other hand tried fitting in but her memories and thoughts of her lover wouldn't let her be normal; she ate silently unless Riddhima asked her a question and she plastered a smile on her face but it was suddenly wiped off and she excused herself from the table and walked out of the dining room while the rest of the family continued with lunch...
...Once their tummies were full with deliciously made food Riddhima showed Anji to her room and allowed her to take some rest while she made her way back to her room daydreaming about how amazing her wedding was going to be.
Just as she neared her room she noticed a figure at the end of the hallway; she frowned and moved closer to find out who it was. The person was whispering into the phone and as they heard footsteps coming closer they ended the call and walked off in the opposite direction. Now Riddhima was even more curious and began to follow the person; they had ran down the staircase and snuck into one of the rooms and Riddhima followed. She neared the room and was about to open the door when she heard a slight cough behind her which made her turn quickly.
"Riddhima Betiya...Padma Ji tumhe niche bula rahi hain..." the servant told her. (Riddhima dear...Padma Ji is calling for you downstairs...)
"Theek hain...aap jaiye..." she nodded. (Okay...you go ahead...)
Riddhima wondered why she was being called as she made her way back down the stairs. Walking through the hallway to the courtyard where she met her aunt who called out to her; she turned to see a crowd sitting around and made her way to them.
"What's going on here?" she asked.
"Look Ridzi your wedding suit is here..." Tamana said excitedly.
"Really...?" she squealed like a little kid; "...Let me see..." she said rushing to the middle.
Suvarna giggled; "Calm down Ridzi..."
"Someone is excited..." Keerti smiled at her.
"Imagine what she will be like when her dulha comes..." Natasha teased and all the ladies laughed.
Riddhima blushed; "Bua!"
Natasha frowned slightly; "Please Riddhima...you make me sound so old...call me Natz Bua..."
"Okay..." she smiled.
"Ridz look at this outfit...it's beautiful!" Muskaan said spreading out a new lengha on top of her wedding dress.
"WOW..." Riddhima replied.
"Riddhima...go and try on your wedding suit..." Neha told her.
Padma agreed "Haan...go and try it on...if you need it altered there's still time..."
Riddhima nodded; "Okay..."
She got up and made her way to her room carrying the outfit in her hand which weighed a ton but she smiled as she ran her fingers over the intricate beaded design of the skirt. She finally made it to her room; locking the door behind her she got dressed with great difficulty as the suit itself was heavy and the dupatta which she placed on her head felt like she was being weighed down.
She quickly took a look at herself in the mirror and liked what she saw; blushing slightly she took the dupatta off of her head and placed it on her shoulder then walked out of the room making her way back down the stairs to the courtyard where everyone was waiting for her.
