Chapter 9

...Sid, Tamana, Suvarna and Aman were going through with their steps that Atul had given them; apart from all the mistakes that they were making they were having lots of fun and enjoying each moment.

On one side of the group were Jiggy, Khush and Raina practicing their dance steps. Raina was having a great time as dancing was her hobby and she had shut the rest of the world out. Her partners on the other hand were watching her every move; Khush couldn't take his eyes off of her and suddenly Jiggy noticed.

"What do you think you are doing?" he hissed at Khush who turned to him in annoyance.

"Nothing..." he replied turning back to look at her.

"Listen Khush..." Jiggy began then suddenly changed his mind; "...let's quickly get on with this practice...we have to try to be the best...and Raina is already doing a good job...we can't let her down..."

"Fine..." he frowned and stood up; he made his way quickly over to Raina but Jiggy was right behind him.

"Hey Raina...that was awesome..." Jiggy said before Khush; "...can you teach me how to do that step?"

Raina smiled at him happily; "Yeah sure..."

Jiggy smiled victoriously at Khush who's frown deepened and he added; "Yeah...he needs a lot of help..."

Raina giggled and Khush was happy with that but Jiggy frowned and turned his back on Khush; "Come on Raina...show me..."

She nodded and spaced out her feet and positioned her arms to the side; "Start with standing like this..."

Jiggy held his hands out like a zombie and Raina helped him to put it in the right position which made Khush frown knowing that Jiggy was doing this purposely; "I have to do something about this..." he thought to himself...

...Ronit, Suhaani and Gappu's rehearsal went extremely well and by the time everyone's time came to an end they had almost perfected their dance routine. The three of them were really happy with the outcome as well as Atul who made them as an example to the other groups who were still struggling then he told them all to take a break and cool down before lunch.

"Where did you learn to dance like that?" Ronit asked Suhaani; "...That was awesome!"

She smiled widely at him; "I have a dance teacher who taught me since I was five..."

"You were really great..." Gappu complimented her.

"Thanks...but you guys did pretty well too..." she told them; "...well I'm going to go and freshen up before lunch...I'll see you guys around..." she stood up and walked away as they said bye and waved after her.

Ronit noticed Gappu smiling after her dreamily and he nudged his elbow; "What's up?"

"She's so sweet yaar..." he continued dreaming.

"Oi...wake up..." he shouted at him.

Gappu jumped and turned to him; "Huh...what?"

"Repeat what you just said..." Ronit glared at him.

"Nothing...I didn't say anything..." he shook his head; stood up and walked away quickly.

"If I want her then I have to do something about it quickly..." Ronit thought to himself.

He was about to go upstairs when he noticed Nikita sitting at the bottom of the stairs on her own; he walked over to her and sat down; "Hey sis...all okay?"
