"Declan!!" Ant shouted after him. "Stop a minute will ya! For goodness sake man! Stop!" He ran after Dec who was currently sprinting out the college grounds. But as much as Ant pleaded Dec didn't stop and it didn't look like he was going to either. Ant stopped when he realised his boyfriend wasn't going to listen to him and walked slowly back to the car park cursing himself quietly. He drove straight to Dec's house because he needed to talk to him. He couldn't let Dec believe the wrong thing, he didn't want to lose him over this. Ant sat patiently on the drive way waiting for his boyfriend to arrive home. It took longer than expected but soon he saw Dec round the corner and onto the drive way. The smaller boy let out a groan seeing Ant's car parked in front of his house.

"Decs baby stop please!" Ant called after him as he leapt out the drivers seat but it fell on deaf ears as the front door opened and was then slammed shut behind him. Quickly Ant ran up to the Donnelly's and hammered on the door until a rather annoyed Anne answered. "Anthony? What on earth?" She frowned at the young boy who was clearly distressed. "I need to talk to Declan" He huffed walking past Anne and running up the stairs towards Dec's room. "Declan baby let me in" He tapped lightly on the door his tone of voice softened, tears threatening to fall. He was so tired and stressed with college right now the added emotion was enough to send him over the edge. A few seconds later he heard the door handle click and the door open slowly. "You said you wouldn't speak to them anymore" Dec sniffed. His eyes red and tear tracks visible on his pale skin. "I know sweetheart but I was sorting something for you I promised I wouldn't get involved with them anymore and I don't break my promises" He stepped into the room placing his hands on his tear stained cheeks using his thumb to wipe the smaller boys eye. "But Anth you were still talking to him" Dec questioned trying to move from his touch. "Yes I was but only to sort this out" He moved away and pulled an envelope from his back pocket. "You've been so stressed out with exams and assignments lately we've been snapping at each other and baby we don't fight thats not us" The smaller lad looked at his boyfriend confused and then opened the envelope. "His sister works at a hotel near by he got me a good deal. I thought a little spa weekend was just what we needed" Ant half smiled. Dec looked up he felt guilty for jumping to conclusions. "Anth I'm sorry" He moved in closer hugging the taller boy. "It's okay but you gotta trust me I'd never hurt you Decky" He kissed his head and pulled away. "I love you don't forget that" The taller boy said looking into Decs eyes. "I know I was being stupid, love you to" He smiled and pecked Ant's lips gently. Quickly these kiss became more urgent and tongues were introduced as hands started to roam under clothing. Ant pulled away much to Dec's annoyance and moved across the room. He picked up Dec's desk chair and rammed it under the door handle to stop any interruptions before he turned his attention back to his boyfriend. Who had now made his way on to the bed and was already undressing. Ant let out a small chuckle as he watched Dec struggle with his jeans and moved over to help pull them off. It was a quick but gentle love making session between the pair. With Dec trying his hardest not to scream out knowing his parents were both downstairs. They laid together for a short while before being interrupted by a knock on the door. "Lads is everything alright?" Alph spoke before trying to open the door. "Declan your mother said you were upset....and why can't I open the door?" He questioned before trying again. "Just a second dad I think.......a sock is under it" Dec jumped up from his bed trying desperately to sound convincing whilst pulling his clothes back. Ant followed Dec's actions while quietly chuckling to himself which made Dec glare in his direction. "Don't look at me like that Declan" Ant smirked doing up his final buttons. "Yes dad?" Dec opened the door. "Your mam said you came home upset I just wanted to check on you" He spoke coming into the room acknowledging Ant at the desk with a quick nod. "Everything's fine just had a bad day at college" The small teenager explained to his dad before giving him a look to get him out of his room. "Alright if you say so" Alphs eyes narrowed walking out. "They must think I'm stupid" The father laughed.

The following weekend Ant picked Dec up from next door and they drove across town to the hotel he had book for them. Even though Dec had tried his hardest not to take his stress out on his boyfriend the whole week had out strain on the both of them. The drive was silent and the tension was obvious. Ant tried his best to lighten the mood but Dec was not having it. He kept going over in his head all the essays and assignments he needed to get finished and right now going to a spa was not his top priority. Soon they pulled up outside the hotel and Ant turned the engine off. Leaning over and looking at his grumpy boyfriend. "If you don't want to do this we can go but can you at least put a smile on that beautiful face of yours before it stays that way" Ant smiled patting Dec's knee. "I just have so much stuff to do today we haven't got time for this Anth" Dec complained. "We will be a couple of hours max alright and you'll feel so much better after" Ant pleaded he was hoping Dec would go in he needed to relax badly. He hated seeing him like this and he hated what it was doing to their relationship. All because of a silly exam result that will mean nothing in 10 years time. "Hmm alright but only because it's you" The smaller lad let out a small smile and huffed as he got out the car.

A few hours later and after what even Dec had to admit the most relaxing morning of his life they were on their way home. "I told you" Ant spoke quietly as they reached the front door of his house. "I'm alway right" He nudged Dec when was in somewhat of a dream state. "Huh?" He looked up and they made their into the hallway. "Nothing baby go upstairs and get started on your work I'll be up in a second" Ant spoke loving before pecking his boyfriend gently on the lips. He watched as the older boy made his way up the stairs. "It's all going to be alright" he thought to himself. And for the first time in weeks he felt the stress leave his body and he breathed a sigh of relief.
