Sorry for the slow update it's been a crazy few weeks so I'm sorry. Just a small chapter but I have started to work on the next one so maybe the next update won't take so long. As always hope you like it, let me know what you think. :) x
Over the coming days Ant had become pretty persistent in making sure Dec knew he was sorry. Texting him at every opportunity and trying to get him to talk to him again. However Declan was a stubborn sod, something Ant was starting to figure out. Which in turn was making him want him in his life even more.
Each time a message came in from Ant, Declan contemplated deleting his number but always backed out. As much as they were annoying him he couldn't help but think Ant actually did care after all.
It had been 2 days since he had, had any contact with the dark haired boy and Dec had to admit he kind of missed him. The awkward teenage smile, the dark red lips he had imagined kissing so many time over the past few weeks and the eyes. Ohh god his eyes were like a dream, the long lashes and the dark hazel that every time he looked at it felt like he was on another planet. His daydream was short loved as he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket.
"Declan, I'm sorry (again) I don't know what else to say but I miss you..."
The older boy let out a large sigh. Yes he missed him too but did he really want to be involved with a boy just like the ones he grew up hating the guts of. Without thinking he found himself replying to the message.
"I miss you too"
As he read the text Ant felt his heart start to pound. A wide grin grew on his face and a sense of relief washed over him. He had replied at last now maybe theres a slight chance he would forgive him.
"Can you come over? I want to talk to you...please?"
It was a long shot, Declan had barley looked him in the eye over the past few days. And as suspected he didn't get a reply. The younger boy went back to his college work and tried to ignore the frustration and anger building inside of him. But he was soon snapped out of it by a knock on the door. "Ant! It's for you!" He heard his sister shout from the front door. The dark haired boy quickly rose to his feet and ran down the stairs. Where he was greeted with Declan stood on the door step, clutching his laptop and a bag of popcorn. "The new season of Orange Is The New Black came out yesterday, thought you might like to watch it. I know how much you loved the others" The smaller boy smiled. "And I bought popcorn, sweet and salty your favourite...you weirdo" He pulled a disgusted face as he held up the bag of treats.
The pair made their way up to Anthony's bedroom and made themselves comfortable on his bed before they began binge watch the new season. They didn't speak much both lost in the programme. Ant finally feeling a sense of relief as Declan seemed to have forgiven him. "I'm glad you forgave me Decs" The younger one smiled at his friend. "My life felt some how empty without you...if that makes any sense" He let out a nerves and awkward laugh. "And if you hadn't I would never had gotten to do this" And before he knew it he was planting an ever so gentle kiss on the smaller lads lips. But before he could go any further Dec backed away. "Shit...I fucked up" Ant moved away embarrassed. "No man shut up...." He leant in a kissed him back this time a little deeper and meaningful. "Just didn't know you felt the same" He grinned as he pulled him closer.
