This was going to be a quick filler chapter but I've rambled on...so sorry if it's rubbish :) x

It took some convincing to show his family Ant wasn't who they thought he was and soon they accepted the relationship between the pair. Well most of the family did. Alph wasn't to keen on his sons boyfriend and made sure he knew this every time he entered the Donnelly home.

Eventually the college year ended and they could spend as much time together as possible. Dec found himself a part time job at a cafe on the high street to pay for their date nights and after a couple weeks he managed to get Ant a job there too. The good old Donnelly charm coming in handy once again. Things were going well for the couple working together meant they could spend more time with one another and really get to know each other inside and out. All Dec spoke about when he wasn't with Ant was Ant and it was starting to drive his mother and sisters insane. Anne loved seeing her youngest so happy for the first time in his life but the amount he spoke about Ant was a little overwhelming and she felt like she knew more about a lad she had barely spoken to more than anybody else right now. One night over the dinner table Anne had to silence her son as everyone else was starting to look a little fed up with the nightly update on how Ant was and it didn't go down very well. In fact Dec threw an almighty tantrum and stormed out running to the only person he was friend with at that moment.

Ant welcomed his upset boyfriend with opened arms and listened as he rambled on about how his family supposedly didn't care. "Declan baby they do care about you but I think they just don't want to hear about you and me every 5 minutes" Ant spoke for the first time since Dec entered his house. "I mean it's sweet that you talk about me so much to your family I wished I could do that but you need to understand there are more important thing in life they want to talk about" He pulled him in to a tight hug and kissed his head. "Now since your here how about we have a movie night. I saved up some money from work and brought some new tech" The taller boy smiled brushing the head from Dec's forehead. "I've set it all up in my room, so no interruptions like at yours and we can snuggle under the duvet" He grinned before gently kissing his boyfriends lips. "You knew by dad only does that so we don't get up to anything" Dec laughed remembering back to all the times Alph walks into his bedroom when Ant's around. "I know, funny how they think your all cute and innocent" Ant grabbed his boyfriends bum and pulled him closer. "And maybe we can fool around a bit I've missed you today" Ant kissed the smaller boy and dragged him up to his room. He locked the door behind him and they both landed on the bed. Where they spent the rest of the evening cuddled together watching movies and enjoying each other's company.

The rest of the Summer holidays was pretty much the same. They worked a few days a week together and then spent the rest of their time at Ant's. Anne didn't like this much, having her youngest no longer around upset her. But Dec had made it very clear to his parents how he felt about bringing Ant home. Most nights he wouldn't bother coming home and that worried the smaller boys parents even more. Even though he was right next door and safe Anne couldn't help but worry.

One evening Dec arrived home unexpectedly and was in a bad mood. Ant had gone away with his family for a few days and he wasn't happy about it. And didn't he let his parents know this. He slammed into the house making both his parents jump and stormed upstairs. "Ohh dear trouble in paradise" Cam laughed coming out of the kitchen after hearing the commotion. "Always been the same has to make a seen" She laughed setting the tea on the table. "I'll go and talk to him" Anne got up from her seat. Approaching her sons bed room she could hear him banging around and angrily talking to himself. She opened the door and was met by a glare from her youngest. "What mam?" He spoke then regretted it seeing the look his mothers face. "What? Declan we've barely seen you all summer love, then you come home and start slamming about. What on earth is going on with you?" She asked concerned for her son. "Nothing, it's nothing Anth's gone away for the week and I miss him" He spoke on the verge of crying. "Ohh darling you really like him don't you?" Anne walked into the room sitting down on his bed and pulling him in to a secure hug. After a long talk with his mam Dec perked up a little and actually ended up enjoying his week with his family. Although he did phone Ant for hours a day and drove his parents mad using the landline after his mobile ran out of minutes.

Eventually Ant came home the two mothers couldn't help but laugh as they both practically sprinted to one another as Christine pulled the car up outside Ant's house. Declan had been out with his mam shopping when he saw the car coming down the road. Realising they had both been in the same situation all week. Grumpy teen being forced to spend time with their family instead of their boyfriend. "I missed you" Ant hugged Dec tightly and kissed him softly on the lips. "Me too" Dec smiled the biggest smile Anne had ever seen and couldn't help but feel a little guilty for making her sons boyfriend feel unwelcome in her home. "Declan why don't you invite Anthony over for tea tonight I'm making your favourite" She smiled looking over at the pair. "You hearing this Anth?" The look of confusion spread on his face. "I think your folks have had a change of heart" The taller boy smiled and politely agreed to the dinner invite.
