My head was ticking.
Smoke-filled bodies and burning wires filled my nose until it was all I could smell. Behind me was a strong wind, moving with the heavy charging of feet. Out of the millions of figures that rushed passed me, none were too clear. Soldiers of man and machine. They met in the very middle and clashed like waves meeting each other in the middle of an ocean. The anger was so thick- Or maybe it was determination? Either way you could almost feel it as both waves battled it out. I watched with my feet planted to the ground. Mechanical parts being torn to pieces with no promise of being reconstructed. Same for the humans with even less luck. As those bodies hit the ground, the ticking in my ear grew louder. Eventually it became unbearable to the point where searching for it was the only option.
But as I turned around there was a blast. The pounding at my head when I woke up on the charging dock was even worse than that dream. I clutched onto my head trying to arrange my thoughts. Yet I was interrupted by a boom just outside my hotel room.
My sensory software was all over the place, I ripped the covers off of me just as a lightbeam threw me into the opposite wall. Through broken plaster and falling drywall I made out a dark figure approaching slowly from the window where the blast had come from. My scans read a male about 5'8, his posture was in offense, and he definitely looked intent on damaging me. I shook my head to get a grip and stood up ready to retaliate. In my haste, the same man quickly grabbed tight onto my face, his metallic hand piercing a few slits into my skin. Before I knew it- my body was sailing through the window, shards of glass flew around me at equal speeds while I managed to brace myself for landing.
I ended up flying through another glass window in the building parallel to the hotel. I skid right along the carpeted floor, bumping my head on a corporate office desk. The people inside screamed at the sudden intrusion and the situation was no better when they saw who(or what) I was. They stood there in awe while I shook the pain off but was distracted by another disturbance.
"JK 699-... Whatever they call you..."
That same man was calling to me from right outside the window. His back had ridiculously long mechanical spider legs sticking out of it, supporting him without him even having to move his kneecaps. The rest of his features included wheat-colored hair atop his head and a sinister burgundy coat, to top it all off an eyepatch covered his left eye and a surgical mask hid his mouth. He cooed "I have something I need to share with youuu," There was something strange about him, he was definitely as youthful as me, but his aggression outshined his looks. The mysterious man lunged forward at top speed, ready to strike his opponent's torso. JK flung his arms into an 'X' to brace himself just as they made contact and were both thrown into another vast number of cubicles and out the opposing window.
From below, the people of London would simply look up and behold, a spectacle they believed they would never witness could be viewed right above them: a human and a robot in combat. In no time, phones were dug out to record or tweet and news channels were headlining the battle live on their broadcasts.
An impatient Professor Seokjin stands with arms folded watching it all occur on BBC.
"Ms. Blue!" He shouts almost a foot away from exploding. Indigo calmly strides to his side waiting to hear whatever was troubling her companion (most likely just some nagging).
Yet all Jin does is point to the TV. "Is that...Who I think it is?" He asks.
Indigo glances at the screen and in no time she recognizes her own creation. "No way..." she mouths while rushing away, Jin hardly budging to follow behind.
