Calliope just stayed inside her hoodie until somebody changed the subject, unfortunately for her that never happened.

"Callibri? are you ok?" sans said looking at her since she had been in her hoodie for the whole conversation. Calliope decides that it is time to come out, and when she does she comes out with a flustered expression.

"moving on~' mettaton said almost too quickly, much to calliope's relief. After the whole fiasco everyone decided that it would be best to move on to the next activity, which unfortunately for calliope was karaoke. Its not that she hated karaoke, its just that her voice went really soft when she sings and her singing voice doesn't really match the ones of the songs she knows, except for one, but that song was waaaaay to long, but she decided that she might as well.

One by one everyone went leaving calliope and sans last. Alphys went first, singing what you assumed to be the theme of an anime she is always talking about, undyne sang a beautiful passionate song, papyrus sang an upbeat tune, mettaton sang one of the songs that were on his show, then finally it was calliope's turn, she was nervous and felt she had to explain what she was singing

"so.. uh... this song is from the surface and its one of my favorites, but it is really long so this might take a minute, and there are also parts that are mostly instrumental and"

"JUST SING ALREADY" undyne interrupted. Calliope sighed and thought to herself welp here goes nothing

calliope started a little shaky but kept strong, she knew the lyrics to this song but was afraid her voice might crack. She absolutely loved this song and the dubstep in it

she kept going, and everyone stared in awe at her voice, how it perfectly suited the song, and how it perfectly suited her. Everyone was mesmerized by everything she did, especially sans. It seemed as if he was in a trance

by now calliope had gained enough courage to start singing with all her heart, she closed her eyes and felt the song, she had memorized all the lyrics and had decided that she would just let the lyrics go. she continued and each and every one flowed out perfectly, almost as if she meant every word.
