Chapter 17

*ASHLEYS POV*

I watched as Daniel and Zach walked on stage. The air caught in my throat. I knew I needed to bolt. My legs were begging me. But I stood frozen. I looked over at Lucy, she looked back me, fear in her eyes

Daniel and Zach motioned for the music to stop. They were about to start singing "Made For"

"We would like to say something." Daniel said, I grabbed Lucy's hand, ready to bolt.

"We would like to thank Logan Paul for getting us this gig." Zach said, a spotlight hit Logan, who was standing. Right beside us. I looked back at the stage. Me and Daniel locked eyes. I was internally screaming. 

Lucy grabbed my hand, we headed for the door. "This song, goes out to two girls who make our pulses race, we just hope they will give us a chance." Daniel said. We both stopped.

Then the beat started, and the rest of the boys walked out. They had two dozen roses, they handed them to Daniel and Zach.

"Four dozen roses..." Daniel started, he jumped from the stage and handed me the roses. It was my favorite song.

People formed a pathway for them to get from the stage to us. By the end of the song they were right in front of me and Lucy.

The song ended. Daniel stood in front of my sweating like crazy and almost panting. I didn't care how sweaty he was, I wrapped my arms around his waist. He stunk, so I pulled away a bit fast and patted him on the chest. He had these huge cheesy grin on his face and it was adorable.

Lucy and Zach were kissing, I rolled my eyes. 

We danced to all their songs after, they wanted to meet at our apartment afterwards. We all agreed. 

We all sat in the living room.

"Hey August when do we get to meet your girlfriend??" I asked, locking my hand with Daniels.

"Umm... I'll see if she wants to hang out  Saturday. But what would we do?" He asked, shrugging his shoulders

"Why Don't We go to that water park..?" Jack suggested.

"You mean that new one called Wet N Wild?" Corbyn asked, pulling out his phone.

"Yeah" Jack said. 

"I'm in." Lucy said, I nodded in agreement.

"Will you come back to the group chat now?" Jonah asked, I looked at Lucy.

"Yeah." Lucy said, all the boys got a big grin on their face.

"Now August is in it!" Zach said, August smiled.

They all left and the group chat started blowing up.

We had a phone meeting with Tilly, where she just talked about the usually stuff. Practically boring us to death.

Daniel texted me, asking if me and Lucy wanted to come over. We agreed.

We arrived at the house. Daniel met us at the door. We all sat in the backyard.

"How about you explain the whole Jordan and Brooke situation." Lucy said, putting her hand on Zachs. 

"Okay.." Zach said, he looked at Daniel with a sad look. Daniel was staring the ground. 

"Okay so..." Daniel started, he paused and took a deep breath.

"Basically, Jordan's dad was my original manager, during American Idol. Before Aspen's dad..." I nodded, he wouldn't look me in the eyes.

"Well, we obvilously dated for  a few months." I licked my lips in anticpation. LIKE DANIEL SPIT IT OUT ALREADY. 

"Anways, we sort of had sex. Only once. But that Sunday whenever you and Jack went on a date.." My eyes dropped. I dared to glance at Jack, he was staring at his shoes. 

"She came to the house, apparently she had recorded us. I had no idea. But you could clearly see my face. She threaten to post it, unless I stopped talking to you. And stuff. I went along that night because I didn't know if you liked me..." My heart dropped. 

"Danni I'm so sorry.. But what about the engaged thing??" I asked, grabbing his hand and squeezing it.

"She forced me into it, saying if I didn't marry her then she'd release it... Or worse..." He finally looked up into my eyes. "She was going to hurt you Ashley.. I couldn't let that happen." I almost started crying right there.

"But they doesn't explain Zach and Brooke.." Lucy's eyes narrowed, as she turned to look at Zach. Everyone else looked up and at Zach, whos cheeks were redder than normal.

"Well, um... Its a bit of a long story..." Zach said
