"Hi." I said awkwardly. I couldn't believe the turn of events. I told him the truth, he gets mad at me, and now he is standing at my doorstep. "May I come in?" He asked me. I nodded and opened the door wider. "Mar!" I heard Ayden exclaim when Marcel walked in. "Hey buddy." Marcel went to the couch where Ayden was and picked him up. "Can we all go to the park for a walk?" Marcel asked me. "Sure." I simply said. We went to a park that was near my flat. We didn't say a word as we walked there. We let Ayden play on the playground as we stood nearby. "Marcel, I'm really sorry about yesterday. I've been feeling so guilty for the longest time. What I did was wrong and I'm truly sorry." I apologized. I hardly got any sleep last night. I was worried that he would hate me forever. "I forgive you, (y/n). I could never hate the mother of my child. I just want to spent as much time with Ayden as possible to make up for the time I lost." He said. I nodded, "It's completely understandable. Whenever you want to see him, just come over." He smiled a little, "I'd like that. I told Missy last night." He blurted the last part. "What did she say?" I asked him curiously. "She was just as surprised as I was. She wasn't too happy when I told her that I planned on moving." What? "You're moving?" He nodded, "I want to move into your building. It would make a lot of things easier for us. Ayden wouldn't have to be traveling all of the time." It would make things easier for us. "It's your decision." I simply said. He looked over at Ayden, "Yeah, I want to move....for us." I gave him a hug and I couldn't help those butterflies that came. When we pulled away, he was still a little close. He looked from my lips to my eyes. "Mar! Come swing!" Ayden yelled from the swings. We let go of each other and it got awkward. "I'm gonna go over there." Marcel pointed toward Ayden. I nodded and watched him go play with his son. I felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. He finally knew. I could tell that he was still a little upset about it, but I knew that in time he would truly forgive me. My phone started ringing and I grabbed it out of my pocket. It was Zayn. I forgot to tell him about everything. "Hello?" I answered. "Hey, are you at your flat? I had bought Ayden a really cool toy." Zayn told me. "Actually, we are at the park with Marcel. I told him everything last night." I said. "Wow, how did he take it?" He asked. "Well, he was very angry and then he left. He came over this morning and told me that he wants to be there for Ayden. He even wants to move into our building." I heard Zayn chuckle, "Looks like he wants to be closer to someone other than Ayden also." I scoffed, "He is just doing this for Ayden, Zayn. He is with Missy anyways." I looked over to where Ayden and Marcel were. Marcel had Ayden on his lap and they were going down the slide. Ayden was having so much fun. "So you are telling me that if Missy wasn't in the picture, that things would be different?" Zayn asked. "I don't know. Besides I doubt he would ever have the same feelings for me like he used to, especially after what I did." I muttered. "You never know, (y/n)." Was all Zayn said. That's all it took to make me wonder.
