I loved Holmes Chapel. Honestly, it was one of the coolest places I've ever been too. I liked being in a small town. Marcel and I left Ayden with Anne as we took a walk around town. It was getting colder so we had to bundle up. He was taking me around to the places he used to hang out when he was younger. "I used to love to come to this park when I was younger. Me and Harry would play on the monkey bars for hours." He told me as we entered the park. His hand was entwined with mine. My fingers were freezing but I didn't mind it. I was just glad to be here in this moment with him. "I saw pictures of you two in the living room of your Mom's. It seems like you two really got along back then." I said. He nodded, "He was like my best friend." "What happened?" I asked. Hopefully I would get an answer this time. We made our way to this bridge. He stopped and leaned against the edge. I stood next to him. "We were in high school and that's when he got popular. He would torment me and then when we got home, he would act like everything was okay." He confessed. He looked down at his hands and I could tell he was feeling the same pain that he had to deal with years ago. I kissed his cheek, "I'm so sorry you had to go through that, Marcel." He nodded, "I hated him. But now, we talked and I think we are going to be close like we used to be. He apologized for everything a few days ago." So that is what sparked his change in behavior. "That is amazing." I smiled. He moved closer and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. I leaned against him. This was perfect. "I'm glad you brought us here." I told him. "Really?" I nodded, "I really like being here. I love small towns. London gets frustrating sometimes." "Would you ever consider living here?" He asked me. I shrugged my shoulders, "Maybe some day." "I'm glad you like it here. My mom really likes you. She told me this morning." He said. "I really like her too. She's so nice." I replied. "I'm happy that my two favorite girls are friends." He chuckled. "We are like BFFs." I joked. "It makes it much easier to do this." He said and I was confused. He let me go and I turned to face him. He was down on one knee. I gasped. Was he doing what I think he is? "(Y/n), when you left five years ago, I was devestated. I wanted you to come straight back into my arms. When I saw you at the park for the first time in five years, I knew I couldn't let you go. I need you, (Y/n). I feel like we have been together since the time I realized I loved you five years ago. I want us and Ayden to be a complete family. So I'm down on one knee asking for you to make me the happiest man in the universe. Will you marry me, (y/n)?" He asked me. By the time he finished his little speech, I was in tears. I nodded, "Yes!" He placed the ring on my ring finger and pulled me into a hug. He lifted me up and spun me around. "I love you so much, (Y/n)." He whispered. I placed my hand on his cheek, "Not as much as I love you, Marcel."THE END!
