"The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it..." - Oscar Wilde
The juicy red fruit, unique among the trees.
The taste that hides its cyanide seeds.
The Snake worms its way around your brain,
Seeking only to cause you pain.
Take a bite and know your folly,
Fill your belly with melancholy.
Offer it around and break the oath,
See the taste of knowledge has doomed you both.
For a minute of temptation,
We find ourselves stuck in damnation.
This is where humanity's tale begins,
Everything else comes from those few meager sins.
