Freedom

16 6 1

In the ringing of a bell,

In the singing of a song,

In the waving of a flag,

There lives freedom.

In the telling of a tale,

In the laughing of a child,

In the crying of joy,

There lives freedom.

In the reading of a book,

In the writing of a story,

In the stroke of a pen,

There lives freedom.

In the dancing of the joyful,

In the  voices of the innocent,

In the acting of the people,

There lives freedom.

In the speaking of the truthful,

In the judgement of the cruel,

In the warning of danger,

There lives freedom.

In the flying of the swift bird,

In the running of the cheetah,

In the swimming of the silver fish,

There lives freedom.

In the hoping of the poor,

In the bravery of the heroes,

In the making of a nation,

There lives freedom.
