Hiccup's POV (2 & 1/2 Years After The First Movie)

        I smile happily as I finger the small box in my back pocket. Today was the day! I thought as I walked over to Toothless, who cooed, knowing today was important. "I can't wait Toothless!" I tell him happily, and he warbles. We soon were flying to the Great Hall, where everyone was eating.

Astrid's POV (In The Great Hall)

      I bit my lip as a little voice in the back of my head was nagging me. 'You have to tell him!'  The voice hissed, but I shook it off, plastering on a fake smile. I had been doing this for almost three years, I could handle this!

Hiccup's POV (At The Great Hall)

        I smiled as I walked up to Astrid. "Good morning, Milady." I told her. She smiled. "Morning, Hic." She replied. I took a deep breath. Here goes nothing... I thought. I drop down onto one knee in front of Astrid, and the room goes dead silent, you could literally hear a pin drop. "Astrid Hofferson, I have loved you for a very long time, and I Want To Swear To You my loyalty and love. Astrid, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" I asked gently, showing her the ring. Everyone stood wide eyed, waiting.

Astrid's POV 

      "I... No, Hiccup. I won't marry you." I say firmly.
