Hiccup's POV (Noon Time)

       I walk over to Toothless. "Let's go to the Cove, Bud." I murmured, and he warbled in response, gesturing with his head for me to climb onto his back. I smiled, and climbed on. Soon, we were soaring towards the Cove.

Hiccup's POV (At The Cove)

     We landed, and I took out the lunch I had packed for us. A fish sandwich for me, and a basket full of raw fish for Toothless.... Gross. "Here you go, Bud." I say, and give him the fish. He warbles happily, giving me a gummy smile. I take the box with the ring in it, and look at it. "Pfft, can't believe I wasted time making this." I growled, and tossed the ring into the lake. I smirk coldly, feeling somewhat triumphant. "Good riddance." I grumbled. Toothless comes up behind me and croons, gently nudging me with worry. I turn, and smile softly at him. I get up, and rest my hand on a rock, not noticing how sharp it was. "I'm okay now, Bud. Now that that ring is gone." I tell him. Suddenly, I slip on a wet piece of the ground, and hiss in pain as I accidentally slit my wrist open. Suddenly, Toothless licks the wound. I stared at him in confusion. When I looked down again, there was no blood, no wound, just a faint, jagged scar reaching from the crook in my elbow down to the end of my wrist near my hand. I gasped, looking at the angry, pink scar. "Hiccup, are you alright?!?!?!?!" Came a deep, unfamiliar voice. I look around quickly, but no one else was in or near the Cove with me except for....... Toothless. I gaped, looking him up and down like I was seeing him for the first time. "Did you just talk?!" I shouted, and he looked extremely startled. "Umm, I've always talked to you Hiccup. Maybe you can only understand me because I licked your wound, and my DNA and dragon chemicals mixed into your blood when it healed." He said. Okie guys, I was excited to finally be able to update again, but this chapter is incomplete. I'm working on it, and will finish the chapter soon. Until next time, Mini Fury's!
