CHAPTER 8

I feel a pinch in my side, and I jump. I turn around to see it's T. His face is bruised and when he breathes he winces.

"Oh my god, T! What happened!" I demand.

"Don't worry about me Cassandra Anne."

"T!! What the hell happened!"

"Okay! Okay, it was my dad."

"Does he beat you!"

"No..."

"Don't lie to me T!"

"How'd you know I'm lying? I mean...uh..."

"T, I'm sorry."

"It's fine, you didn't do anything wrong. What happened last night with the whole ticking time bomb thing?" then Lexi walks in.

"Why are you yelling Casey?" she asks so sweetly. "It's scaring me."

"Oh honey, come here, I'm sorry." I say as I open my arms. she climbs into my arms and I hug her while I sit up in my bed. I hug her for a long time.

"Casey?" T asks me.

"What? Your dad calls you Tobias." I say. he shoots me a dirty look.

Lexi says sweetly and softly, "Hi T. I'm Lexi, it's nice to meet you." she says sticking out her hand. T looks confused but I give him an innocent look and he puts his hand out and shakes hers.

"It's nice to meet you too, Lexi." he says.

"Has Casey ever told you that you have really nice eyes?" Lexi says.

"Lexi!" I say non-aggressively.

"What?" she says calmly.

He looks at me and says, "It's fine Casey." He looks over at Lexi and then says, "No she hasn't. Has anyone every told you that you look almost identical to your sister?" he asks pointing at me.

"No." she says smiling and looking up at me.

"Hey Lexi?" he asks. "Do you want to go somewhere with me and Casey?"

I give him a look, but he then looks at Lexi again. "like where?" she asks.

"I have no idea. Casey do you have passes to anywhere?" he says looking at me.

"We all have Disneyland passes, me and Caleb and Josh have six flags and magic mountain passes, and then we all have soak city passes."

"Then let's go to Disneyland! I have a pass to there too!"

"Wait you do?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, now hurry up, no time to waist."

Lexi gets up quickly and I get up and change. we walk out early, it's 8:30. we drive to Disneyland. the car ride was long, but really fun. when we finally arrive at Disneyland, it's 9:50. we walk in and start with Lexi's favorite it, scream. When we get off we go to the Ariel ride.

When it was 8:40, Lexi was asleep in T's arms. Before I know it, we are back and I crawl into bed.
