I sit back, releasing him from the hug. He seemed sad. We stop in time square and get out. My face was so amazed. This something that just doesn't happen everyday to every person, but why me? I'm not special in any way, so why do I get this? There are people out there better then me who deserve this.
I look at T who is so happy. I have to tell him. "T, I need to tell you something." I say seriously.
"What?" he asks.
"I can't do this, I can't do this to you, your too nice for me." I say.
"What do you mean?" he says getting sad.
"T, I am a ticking time bomb, and one day I'm going to explode. All I'm doing is trying to minimize the casualties." I say. He looks so sad that a tear streams down my face. "I'm sorry T." I say. I run, I run as hard and fast as I can, and I don't know where my feet are taking me. I end up in the subway. I get on and go to my terrible apartment complex.
I run up the striata into my room crying. I hate this right now, I hate it. Caleb wakes up with a jolt, I dared him awake.
"I'm sorry." I say wiping tears from my cheeks. "I didn't mean to wake you up, go back to sleep."
He walks up to me and hugs me, we fall to the floor and he is holding me, I cry until I fall asleep.
I wake up in my bed with a headache and I'm in the cloths I was in last night. I grab my head and Caleb comes in with what looks like a buffet.
"Here, mom made you this."
"Did she put some weird potion in to make me nice to her."
"No, but here." he says as he sets the tray down in front of me. I look around at my wide selection of options and decide to eat some eggs. I take two forkfuls of egg and then I stop.
"I'm not that hungry."
"I can see now that two forkfuls of egg equals a pop tart."
"Yes, yes it does."
"So happened last night? With that T guy? What did you do?"
"I don't wanna talk bout' it."
"Casey."
"What!" I say aggravated.
"What happened last night."
"We went to time square and I didn't want him to have feelings for me, so I ran."
"Did he chase after you?"
"I said I didn't want to talk about it, okay so just leave me alone."
"Okay. I'll tell mom you liked her eggs."
"Yeah enough for two forkfuls."
"Yeah. I'll check on you when I get back from school okay?"
"Okay. Bye, love you."
"I love you too Casey." he says as he walks out the door. I let out a big sigh and then go back to people watching from my window. That's when the scariest thing happens.
