I woke up. I thought I was dead. I saw an African American walk in as I sat up in the bed.

"Welcome Karman."

"Who are you? Where am I?"

"I'm Nick Fury, but you can call me Commander Fury. You are on the S.H.I.E.L.D hellicarrier."

"Why am I here?"

"Because you could help us save the world. Your powers ca-"

"What powers?"

"See for yourself." I walked to a mirror in the room. I saw myself and wanted to scream, but all I could do is gasp. I looked the same, short hair, tall. The only difference was that I was all silver. My skin was smooth and silver. My hair no longer moved like hair does. My eyes even! I was a moving statue!

"OK, I'm silver. What are my powers?"

"That's for you to find out. You go down to the training room and find out."

"I'd much rather stay here."

"That wasn't a suggestion, it was an order. Put this on." He tossed me a one piece silver suit. I took off my tank top and shorts and put in the suit. It matched my skin and the fabric felt weird. I walked into a man with a t-shirt and jeans. He had blonde hair.

"How do I get to the training room?"

"I'm heading there, why don't you follow me?"

"So this is all real? All the super heroes and stuff?"

"As real as you make it. I'm Steve Rogers."

"You're Capitan America! Your the first super hero! I read stories about you and others, but you've always been my favorite."

"Thanks. Here we are." We walked in and I saw all of the Avengers. I tried not to stare and not make a scene. Captain went over to a punching bag. I'm guessing it was specially made for him since it didn't call apart when he hit it. Dr. Bruce Banner was sketching on a piece of paper, but I didn't really know what he was doing. Natasha Romanoff was practicing on a dummy. Clint Barton was shooting bows at another dummy. Thor was resting. I could tell he just stopped working out. Finally Tony Stark was really just sitting doing nothing.

"Who's the new recruit?" Natasha asked.

"I'm Karman Baker" I said.

"Well what can you do, besides look good in silver?" Tony remarked.

"Thanks and no thanks. I'm here to find out what I can do."

"Great, so we've got someone who doesn't know what they can do. Thanks Fury." Clint said.

"Excuse me" Commander Fury walked through the door, "I came to see how Karman was doing, but I guess I may have to deal with simmering else as well."

It was quiet after that. Fury left abs we all went back to work.
