Chapter 5

The Boardwalk

They arrive at the boardwalk and Jack and Avery immediately want to go on the scariest ride, the Giant Dipper. "Lexi, please come on it with me!!" Avery begs. "No, I really don't like rollercoasters, though!" Lexi said stubbornly. "Hey Lexi, would you go on it if I held your hand the whole time?" Corbyn kindly remarked. "You know what Avery? I think that sounds fun now." Lexi said, excited to hold corbyn's hand. Meanwhile, Daniel is walking with Kennedi, holding her hand. "Hey kennedi, let's go to the gift shop. I will buy you anything you want." Daniel said while blushing. Kennedi smiled and said, "thanks Daniel! Let's do it!" Zach, Brittany, Jonah, and Samantha all rushed to go play the games. The first couple games Jonah and Zach won the girls a keychain or two. Then, Brittany and Samantha asked to play. They won Jonah and Zach teddy bears that were as tall as zach! Jonah and Zach looked at each other in awe while Brittany and Samantha were high-fiving. While the girls started  walking away, Jonah said "woah, those girls are dope", Zach agreed. They all sent out a text and met back up for lunch. They ordered everything on the menu, including corn dogs, nachos, soft pretzels, fries, pizza, cotton candy, slushies, and more! The girls talked about their business again, and the boys got to tell them some secrets about their new album coming out.  Throughout the rest of the afternoon they kept going on rides and playing games. Before sunset they decided to go to the beach. They played around a little bit until sunset came. When the sun was setting, they all sat next to each other on the sand. Every one of them was holding hands. Corbyn and Lexi were laughing about a seal they saw swimming near the shore. Jack and Avery were non stop telling each other jokes and they were both laughing so hard. Samantha and Jonah were complimenting each other nonstop and blushing like crazy. Zach was trying to teach Brittany how to smooth step on the sand while they were holding hands. Kennedi had her head on Daniels shoulder while he sang her favorite songs to her softly. Once the sun set, they all got up and August pulled out sparklers! They ran around the beach with them while jack chased Avery around with one. Because she has a horrible fear of them. They were all laughing and having tons of fun. They went back to the boardwalk to play a couple more games and go on a couple more rides. At 12:00 they decided to start heading back. The first hour the boys sang to the girls until they fell asleep. They got back to the house both extremely tired, and extremely happy. "Woah. That was the best birthday in the world! You guys are the best! Did you help them plan this?" Kennedi said. "Yep!" Samantha replied. The girls all went to bed after all of their dreams came true in one day.
