Jack had been at the hospital with Avery for a week and 4 days. With the rest of the group checking on them every single day. The boys fan base was getting worried about Jack as he hadn't posted or anything and then finally Jack posted a #prayforAvery on his story and all the fans didn't know what it meant. But with the super supportive fans the boys have, they all used the hashtag and it grew very big. The doctors kept asking Jack if he wanted to go home but he refused to let go of Avery's hand until she woke up. The doctors understood until today. "Mr. Avery." The nurse said. "Yes ma'am?" Jack said. "If she is not awake by tonight I need you to go home ok, this isn't healthy for you." She told him. "You're kidding dude. I've waiting so long just let me wait til she wakes up!" Jack said confidently but kindly to the nurse. "I know but I will need you to leave tonight when your friends come back." the nurse informed him again. "I can't, I love her. I love you!" Jack said looking at Avery, with a tear falling down his cheek. He squeezed Avery's hand a little tighter and he heard a beeping sound coming from the machine next to her bed again. The nurse smiled ear to ear and went to tell the doctors. He then noticed Avery's eyes open and hears her adorable voice that he had missed. "mmm mac and cheese is so good." Avery told him not fully awake yet. "Avery you're vegan." Jack says laughing. He gave her a hug and a kiss on the forehead and hugged her again. "Wait, why?" Avery asked continuing the conversation. She hugged him back best she could. "You'll remember in a bit babe." Jack laughs as they layed there until the doctors came in. Jack then got off her and let go of her hand. He walked around with his hands on his head trying to breathe but he was super happy. "Yo get off of me what the heck." Avery told the doctors squirming around. "We just gotta do a few tests to see if you are ok Avery." One of the doctors told her. "No, no tests until ramen is back duh" Avery told them stubbornly. Jack heard Avery but knew he couldn't go over there. "Baby I'm right over here don't worry!" Jack told her from the other side of the room. "Jack? Why did you go over there are you cheating on me?" Avery asks him. The doctors look at him and nod their heads in his direction and he came over to the bed and grabbed her hand again. "No of course not sweetie." Jack said. He knelt right by her and held her hand tight. Avery smiled and told the doctors they could proceed. Jack told her to squeeze his hand whenever it hurt. He was smiling so big and another tear trickled down his face. He turned away and wiped it away still smiling and gripping her hand. After a few hand squeezes they were done testing her. "You are gonna be just fine Avery I will call your friends and tell them they can come get you tomorrow." The doctor told Avery. The doctors left the room soon after. "YES!!" Jack yelled. Avery jumped at the scream. "Avery! I'm so happy you're awake!" Jack tells her. Avery trys to sit up and outstretches her arms. Jack goes to give her a hug. "I mean I was just stretching but this is good too." Avery said still very loopy.She squeezed him tight and wouldn't let go. A tear fell down her cheek as she hugged him. She then started crying. "Baby baby what's wrong?" Jack asks her scooting off her and looking into her eyes concerned. "Jack? Why am I crying? Crying is for babies" Avery asks him. "Avery crying is fine." He says "Wait ah I'm still dreaming huh no ahhh?" She says and starts to get freaked out. She hides her face in her knees. "Avery you are not dreaming everything is okay. What did you see in your dreams?" Jack asks hugging her. "Well, the car crash kept playing over and over it was awful actually. Also it kept getting blurrier and blurrier but I knew that I was okay because something was holding me down or whatever. Sometimes I would get like snipbits of regular dreams but instead of waking up then the crash played again. Then I heard you say I love Avery and I could open my eyes. I don't really know how I'm alive but its chill also where's my puppy? you said you were going to bring me a puppy. Jack you promised." Avery told Jack not crying anymore. " Also, why do you smell bad?" Avery laughed. "Avery I've been here, been here the whole time didn't leave, never will. Avery I Love you! I love you so much! And thats why I smell bad" Jack tells her kind of laughing. "Jack!" Avery says smiling. "I Love You too! I always have and I always will I think." Avery responds. "That's good enough haha." Jack then leans in towards Avery, Avery was confused but just went with it and they kissed. "Oh no! I'm so sorry Avery I didn't mean to I didn't uh" Jack tells Avery biting his lip nervously. "Haha you're so cute when your worried!" Avery tells him blushing. Then Avery kisses him yet again and then they hug for a long time. "Jack! We just kissed!" Avery realizes. "Yeah we did." Jack laughs. "We don't have to tell anyone if you don't want." Jack says. "I mean it doesn't really matter but actually yes we shouldn't ." Avery says confusing herself. Both of them then hear "Avery!!" being screamed in the hallway. "Shhh, Jack, literally like nothing just happened!" Avery whispers to him then grabs his hand. He nods and laughs. "Avery!!!" All the girls screamed running in and giving her hugs. Jack sat up. After the girls were done all the boys gave her hugs and Avery gave Corbyn the tightest hug of all. "Corbyn you freaking saved my life right!" Avery tells him and keeps hugging him. "Corbyn thanks wow hows your arm?!! Thank you so much bro I'll never be able to repay you! like for real!" Avery says still hugging him. "Wellllll my arm is good and no worries just pay for my food sometime." Corbyn laughs. "Corbyn I will pay for all your dinners for the next month." Avery says. "Alrighty well I'm holding ya for that! haha!" Corbyn says. Everyone laughs. "I'm so glad everything can go back to normal now!" Samantha says. "Yeah and Jack... you need to shower bud." Daniel tells him patting him on the back. "That's what I told him ahahaha." Avery says. Everyone laughs a little more and the boys were going to take Jack home and the girls were gonna stay with Avery for the last night. "Wait before we leave," Zach says grabbing Jacks arm and taking him out into the hall. "What the heavens?" Avery says. "HAHAH HEAVENS?" Lexi says making fun of her. Jack and Zach walk back in with a puppy.

"OH MY GOSH ITS SO CUTE!" Avery screams. "Apparently I promised you one. Also you guys get some loopy Avery she's hilarious." Jack said. Everyone laughed as Avery held the little puppy in her arms. "Do I get to keep it?" Avery asks. "Sadly no, I couldn't get one this late of notice so, this is Chip, he's my aunts haha" Zach tells her. "You can have him for the night." Jack adds. "Awe thank you guys so much!" Jack gave her one last hug and the boys left. After the were gone Samantha instantly started asking Avery loads of questions. "What was it like while you were sleeping?" Samantha asks. "Tbh haha I felt like sleeping beauty" Avery jokes. Everyone laughs. "No but I just kept living the car crash over and over and over again and everytime I felt like i was like idk leaving on a rocketship." Avery tells them "Like dying?" Kennedi asks. "Kinda yeah like a ballooooooon" Avery informs them still a little drousy. "But the only thing that was keeping me here was what I was holding on to." Avery says. "Awe Avery you know what that means!!!" Lexi tells her. "Not really no lol." Avery tells them. "No! Avery! Jack refused to leave! He refused to let go of your hand until you woke up." Lexi tells her. "Avery, Jack was the only thing keeping you alive!" Samantha says. "If he wasn't holding your hand you might not be here right now!" Brittany says. "Or you can just say I'd be dead cause ya know that's accurate." Avery tells them. "Oh my gosh Avery that is actually the cutest thing ever!!" Kennedi says. "So... besides you guys being the most couple goals people ever... did anything else happen????" Samantha asks. "Well... i mean something" Avery was interrupted with "Tell us!! you have to tell us now!!!" coming from Lexi. "K, here's the story, so I woke up when I heard Jack say "I love her, I Love you!" I think. Then he squeezed my hand and I could open my eyes again." She said to the girls. "Yessss" Brittany said intrigued. "A little while after I woke up I told Jack what I just told you. He told me he stayed with me he said he didn't leave my side and he never would, then he said he really meant what he said about loving me. I told him I loved him too. So yeah." Avery finished her story blushing like a tomato just looking at Chip.. She didn't tell them about the kiss because her an Jack made a deal and didn't want anyone to know. The girls stood up and started clapping. "That's the cutest first "I love yous" i've ever heard!" Samantha said. The girls kept telling Avery how cute it all was and then they went to bed.
