Chapter 7

The Song

They boys sit down and they are all obviously nervous. They are always fidgeting with their hands or brushing back their hair. Jack was just twirling his hair. The girls all come in and there is an awkward but adorable tension in the room. "So we wanted to tell you something but we couldn't think of any other way but singing it." Jonah said nervously. "Well that's ok! We love your voices!" Lexi says happily. Daniel closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, then starts playing a sweet tune on his guitar. Daniel starts singing, "when I first saw you it was like dej-a-vu, I cant think of any one better. When we held hands that day all my problems drifted away, it's like you take me to outer space" Kennedi blushes. Jack starts singing, "when we started laughing it was like a melody, your laugh stuck in my mind. Whenever you look at me I swear we transport in time." Avery starts to smile really big and doesn't know what else to do but play with her ring. Corbyn comes in, "when I talked to you it was a dream come true, my mind locked on your eyes. With your head on my chest, I couldn't even rest I can't stop thinking about you" lexi blushes and starts to cry. Jonah comes in, "I saw you there, being pretty as ever. I've never seen a girl like you. You are everything I've needed, my thoughts are what you're leading" Samantha blushes and starts twirling her hair. Zach comes in smiling with new confidence, "your smile is like nothing I've ever seen, I've been trying to find someone just like you, you'll never know how much you mean to me." They all harmonize, "we just wanna spend more time with you, we just wanna laugh and dance with you." They layer upon each other's voices as they sing. Zach first, then jonah,then Daniel, then Corbyn, then finally jack with i high note. They sing-"will you-will you-will you-will you-Will youuu" they cut off for a split second. They softly harmonize, "will you go out with me" Daniel strums a final chord and the all start smiling. Simultaneously the girls say "OF COURSE!!!!" The girls get up and hug their boys. Each boy tells their girl when their date will be. "I'm taking you out 22nd sweetheart!" Corbyn tells Lexi with a smile on his face. "Wait what about Christina?" Lexi asks. "Well, people kept asking Christina about me non stop, and she kept telling me how people only watch her for me. Whatever I said apparently didn't help because when she saw me in New York she told me she was done having no one appreciate her for her. It was really hard for me, I wouldn't even leave my bed, so the boys took me to the mall to help me forget about it. I never thought I would but when I hung out with you for the first time I forgot about it and I have been so happy to since." Corbyn said sweetly. "Aww Corbyn I also just got over a break up and I feel the same way!" Lexi said gratefully. They hugged for a couple minutes. "You, me 23rd Babe!" Jonah tells Samantha. "Yay!!!" Samantha says excitingly. "We got 24th!!" Jack says. "I got Kennedi on the 25th!" Daniel says. "GREAT and I get to take this cutie out on her birthday!" Zach tells Brittany. The boys leave and the girls get back to work. "Screw pants!" Samantha yells. And they go back to their normal day, happy as ever.
