there once was a boy, that feigned innocence whenever possible.

his name was luther and he was a boy, but he was a man.

he tasted her heart in summer, but the metallic shell repelled him.

"you're so beautiful. please do believe that" he had whispered stroking her tanned cheek, his fangs morphed into a charming smile.

"why should i if every soul that says it hurts me afterwards without sparing a second. i shan't believe it if it leaves another" spares him a sorry stare before glancing back to the book on her folded bare legs.

as soon as she glanced away a scowl curled his thin lips.

"surely darla, you must realize that i am different" he presses on as he massaged her back but abruptly flinches back when the minty eyes bid him to be quiet.

he would have to try again another day.
